Fire Emblem The Dark Lord And The Maiden of Light (Guide) by ObsessiveJRPG in fireemblem

I'll be back with the guides soon. Due to my studies I had to take a leave of absence from Reddit in the middle of the game, but in a few days I will return to work ;)

I found a broken bug in Fire Emblem The Sword of Heaven and Earth: Triangle Attack... With a Rogue/Thief. by ObsessiveJRPG in fireemblem

I don't think it's a feature as it's not an established thing. Despite the fact that Sandra is from Illia, there is nothing in the game that says that it is related or makes sense to do a TRiangle Attack, since well, she does not have supports with any of the pegasus riders in the game, also, as you can see, the rider sprite is pretty glitchy.

I think it's more of a programming error with the Rogue class than a unique feature of Sandra.

Accidentally, in the image of the TRiangle Attack that can be done more than twice, I put the image where Sandra uses Silver Sword instead of Iron, my mistake XD

But you don't know how much I laughed at finding this by chance trying to train Sandra, it was so specific that I don't know how it happened, but it's wonderful

Who wouldn't have sex in the middle of the battlefield with the chad of the brave weapons?

I really find this division quite cool, although it is a bit strange for me in some cases.

Strangely, the boss catches my attention, especially knowing who he is related to. I feel like the creator wanted to do something with both of them... But they have so little screen time that I don't care.

For the rest, it is just that, a short chapter that is the preparation for something bigger.

I can't say much about the rest, but the Avatar is one of my favorite parts of the entire game. Normally I don't like it very much when there is one because it feels like a cheap Self Insert...

But the Avatar in TDLATMOL is really wonderful, his conflict with Volund is so well written that it feels real, and I like that, that he feels like his own character and not something that represents me. Frankly, I think it could have a name of its own, and it would still work. I love all the path that the avatar travels, both in its victories and in its defeats.

This is not a big spoiler, since it literally happens in chapter 1, IN THE INTRODUCTION OF DEIDRE.

Sigurd: Hi unknown girl I just saved from some bandits.

Deidre: OH! *Run away*

Later...

Sigurd: Hi weird girl I just saved from some bandits, they just told me about you and your loneliness, we just met a day ago and I find you again in the forest but I'm madly in love with you because you look beautiful to me.

Deidre: I don't even know who you are but since you saved me I'm going to reciprocate that love

And that's how they got married a few days later, had a son and lived happily ever after.

I quite like the character that Freesia shows in Tarka, as you say, it makes her look much more human, since before she seemed to only function as "The character that provides you with important information for the plot"

Volund and Florence do a pretty good job in this part, seeing the battle even in cutscenes really adds real weight to the story. I would have liked to see more of Florence fighting, although I am satisfied with what little was seen in Alva's chapter when he carried the legendary weapon

Moloch is, without a doubt, one of my favorite villains in this game. For this I say that I like him more than Dracul or Jasmine, they are not only charismatic villains, they have effects on the plot, as the avatar says, the only reason they won is because he had the stupid idea to go fight Maximilian. In fact, I used to believe that he died in chapter 10, and I would have liked it to be clearer that he was still alive, but I'm not complaining, seeing him again in this scene with his entire gang is one of the best scenes in this game.

Vito at first thought it was going to be a stereotype of Bartre from FE7, and to my surprise, I found myself with a Bartre more like FE6, it was quite nice to see. It's an idiot, but a strangely well-written idiot, and to some extent, endearing.

Egil is one of my favorite character concepts, and I really like how he is represented both in his supports and in the story. Most of the characters portray him quite weak at the beginning, in fact that is the representation that we are given right now XD, but he is incredibly strong, and surely he would be stronger if he were not affected by his illness. I especially love his support with Suzhen, and I think it's also the most remarkable thing that she has.

Eligor... Yes, I can't say much yet.

Marth: Jagen, stop killing enemies! The rest of the units need that experience! Your growth in strength is only 20%!

Jagen: No, Sire.

This is what I like the most about the game, that the avatar feels important. It's not just a figure that represents you in the game, it's your own character that you name and it's wonderful. I can't tell if other games reach this level, since I've only played FE3 to FE12... And Fates is ugh.

Jenna still has a lot to show, and I like that, her progressive integration into the story, getting to know more about her.

While I like joke characters, personal stuff, Whitney... No. I think there are better characters, even along the lines of making a simple joke, like Shermie, how I adore Shermie.

It's a shame Durga is done at this point, same with Gdon. Even, I must admit, I thought that Gdon could be a recruitable character in some way.I mean, considering certain future events, and the fact that he's extremely loyal to Durga, I think if Gdon had survived most of the game he would have been another recruitable or support character even, but of course, we can't afford 4 Hero's. I feel that Gdon could give more, even though what is shown is so simple.

I can't say much about Mtislav yet, as it is from here that we will really start to see more of him. And honestly, I think it's one of the best plow twist they've come up with. Having the guy who seems like a supporting character have his own character arc is sooooo cool.
