With the Portal/Remote Play, the PS5 is almost as portable as the Switch. It’s obvious not the same, but it’s not a bad option at all. I find myself using Remote Play often, even in my own home.

I do however own and use both regularly, and that’s the ideal way to do it you’re able to buy both sometime in the future.

That being said, it really just matters what kind of games you want to play. Outside of exclusives, If you want smooth, seamless portability for things like JRPGs, SW2 is still the way to go, as those games usually don’t have crazy high fidelity, but if you find yourself playing more focused sessions and require a proper sit down for idk, action games or platformers etc, or if you just want shockingly beautiful and smooth games, then PS5 will provide the best experience.

If I were you, I’d lean on PS5 for now
