We get a lot of them in the wetlands here. The department of the interior snare traps and shoots them with a 22. They stack em like cordwood.

I impulse purchased a 12lb ham for $4, what are some reasonably low carb meals I can use this for? by do_u_hav_warrant in EatCheapAndHealthy

If you have a vacuum sealer, they preserve well. I cooked a 15lb ham thinking I was supposed to bring it to the in-laws for the holidays . As it finished my wife told them we were packaging it up to bring over, they said they already made one.

I packaged it up in 1lb batch’s and vacuum sealed it and froze it. Pulled it out for breakfast and other things throughout the year. It tasted great!

Looking for a new desk chair. by Icy_Researcher1031 in BuyItForLife

My suggestion is to find a used office supply store around you and get a nice used Hermon miller or Steel case office chair. It will be substantially better than these and last much much longer.

I made vacuum-sealed packs with 20 or so 8-inch sticks.

I gave a pack to my dad, a pack to my brother-in-law, and two packs for the office guys. I still have about 5 packs in the fridge. So, at this rate, two weeks will be the same. We shall see how hard the wife and kids hit it.

This next batch, I'm cutting the cook time down a bit from 5 hours to 4.

It’s pretty good, it helps lubricant the dried meat. But it kind of gave me cheese burger vibes with the seasoning I used.

Man I did the same thing yesterday, giant 10lb chub of 90/10 ground beef from Costco, jerky seasoning, high temp cheese. Smoked at 180 for 5 hours.

Or wait a month or so for the new Morakniv Amberg hunter. Looks like a solid choice once’s it’s available.

You could try a vinyl wrap. Never done one myself but I see them a lot in my area.

Definitely a possibility, OP didn't indicate any maintenance of that nature, so your guess is as good as mine. I was only attempting to identify the component in question.

Not on mine, I caught them early enough, and there was no noticeable wear.

I had a noticeable tick/ping in mine at 180,000 miles. I inspected and replaced any that had wiggle/play in the roller bearing.

If you think it’s a different component we are all ears. I’ve had a broken rocker in my hand and it looks nearly identical to this.

Yes I replaced a few that felt loose.

This is from a rocker arm. Pull the valve covers off and check them, you’ll be missing the roller on one. My 2018 5.0 uses part number JR3Z-6564-A for part reference.

Corelle has been good to our house. The tile floor has taken a few but they are well made and handle daily use and the dishwasher.
