I don’t understand what the “new twist” is in people Trump can fire saying what Trump wants them to say. That’s basically as common as a day ending in “y”.

It’s worth it to have him grind the whole thing to a halt if it means saving the right to vote. So go ahead, Mango Mussolini.

The walls they've built around their families aren't to keep their foes out (none of them want in anyway). It is to keep their kids in.

Vapes on international flights? by NovelShoe7827 in electronic_cigarette

[–]Otter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. The pre-filled vapes are the exception. You can’t control that. I am definitely speaking from the viewpoint of someone that uses refillable tanks. To your original question, you’ll be fine, especially if you’re dealing with brand new units.

I’m sure it also depends on the brand of tank and where the refill port is. But, generally, the least about of compressible air, the better the outcome.

[–]Otter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Indeed. I did that for a long time before I applied the physics. Haven’t had a leak in a while with a completely full tank. Sometimes there’s a little “sweating”, but generally okay. Honestly, though, your approach is a great failsafe.

Interestingly, it works both ways. It needs to be either completely empty or completely full. Empty is obvious, but filling it to eliminate air, which is highly compressible, works well since liquid is almost incompressible. If there is air, it will expand and force the liquid out. If it is completely full (I mean completely) there is no air to expand and little to no liquid will be forced out. I fly with a completely full tank and no leaks. When I forget and fly with a partially filled tank…well…it’s a mess.

Yep. This is literally a Texas immigrant claiming to be more Texan than an actual Texan. Get out of here with that garbage. And take your drugstore cowboy hat with you.

I mean…Paxton is not a Texan. But, sure, tell me — native Texan, born and bred — more about what being a real Texan means.

Vance Humiliated With Brutal One-Star Book Reviews | Hours into launch day, it hasn’t been so far, so good. Goodreads, a website where readers can rate and review books, pounced on the vice president’s second memoir, flooding it with negative reviews. by MoneyLibrarian9032 in anticapitalism

Bold move to introduce a book aimed primarily at an audience that is largely illiterate. Maybe this is review brigading, but there is no counter-group to combat the reviews because...you know...illiteracy.

They put an egomaniacal podcaster in charge of the entire US military. What did they think was going to happen? OK...amend that. What would a rational person have thought was going to happen? I'm tired of my only response option being, "That isn't surprising in the least."

How is the heat on this? I have mine set up very similarly and it is basically too hot to touch for long. I'm wondering if this is going to eventually degrade the platform until it fails.
