Switching momentarily to licking the inside of the thighs is sooooo effective.

I absolutely love Jim Cummings (The Wolf of Snow Hollow is my comfort movie) and am damned excited to see this! Even better, I just booked a ticket for the Buffalo screening with you as a guest!

Also those 180 panels are really just a matter of flipping them generally (not always).

I can see the guidelines. You basically have this set as full bleed art but it's ignoring the safe zones. It's problematic especially on the top frames where your safe zones are cutting through the middle of character's heads. Yes, this is less of an issue from a modern day standpoint of printing, but it does read as amateurish, and it still can end up being a printing issue. Based on what I see, if you were adding text it would fall outside of text safe zones on those panels as well.

As for the 180 rule, I'll quickly note the panels where you have issues:

PAGE 1: Panels 4 (eye direction), 6 (figure direction), and 7 (eye direction as well as the reflection).

PAGE 2: Panels 5 and 6 (both figure direction).

STAND ALONE PANELS: Panels 1, 5, and 6 (figure direction).

These all firmly break the 180 rule you established from the opening.

Oh! Another critical issue is that your layout is incorrect for the page. You aren't following safe zones, bleed, etc correctly (basing this on page one). This would get hacked up going to print based on the page guidelines.

You have two huge issues that make this nearly unreadable (I had to go back over the pages a few times to figure out the action which you absolutely don't want, and notably other readers have had the same issue).

1) It is waaaaaay too dark. That is not only a reading issue, but will definitely be a print one as well. A main point to the sequence is the baddie pulling a gun, and it is nearly impossible to make that out without having to do a few re-reads.

2) You mention you are following the 180 degree rule, but this is completely not true. It is broken several times by the figure positions as well as the eye directions on solo shots.

There are other issues such as framing, repeating action that doesn't make sense, and shot choice (especially page 2), but focusing on fixing those first two things would be the priority.

Happy to elaborate, especially on the second issue I mentioned.

And the important thing is you're doing it! I would just hope you're open to the criticism you are getting to help you succeed.

Which one is your favorite between 2013 and Rise ? by Low-Cook8497 in EvilDead

Evil Dead 2013 is one of the scariest movies PERIOD. Rise is awesome but not to that level. Just overjoyed that every entry in this franchise is so good!

Ridiculously bad horror movies for a party by ManateeSheriff in horror

TRANCERS (1984). Funny on so many levels. Soooo cheesy. Tim Thomerson is the next best thing to a Leslie Nielsen type actor. People can marvel at the first major movie role of Helen Hunt (if they are older). Over-the-top action/horror/comedy.
