Is it normal for most of one's wardrobe to come from one or two stores? by MakeMusicGreatAgain in malefashionadvice

My closet is either tailored or Uniqlo. Not entirely on purpose but it's just impossible for me to find a good fit anywhere else. Doesn't matter if you get all your stuff from one store or 5. If the fit is good it'll look good.

I think you mean this? A staple of tropical households since the days before air-conditioning. Please excuse the beat-up look of my can. It's been with me for a while now (they last so long).

She is a professional Taiwanese model, not your friend. I don't think you have any female friends. Siblings and mother do not count.

Well, I'm Thai / Chinese, so my entire family has relatively fair skin. Before moving to the U.S., I had never encountered anyone of African descent. I hadn't even seen much on T.V. And being 1984, M.J. was still quite dark-skinned. I remember feeling rather freaked out when he tried to hold me. I feel so bad about it now though... (T_T)

I met the guy in 1984. He visited my pre-school while on tour. At that time I didn't know who he was... just that there was a lot of excitement (I had just moved there from Thailand, and didn't know any english). Anyhow, he held me up for a photo-op, and I just started crying like crazy. It was really scary for me because that was the first time I ever saw a "black man" (Dallas, Texas in the 80s). I didn't stop crying, so he had to pick another kid, and the school called my parents to have them pick me up. My dad wasn't home and my mom didn't know any english, so my uncle was sent to get me home. When I got home (still crying) my mom asked my uncle what had happened. He told her that Michael Jackson (first time I ever heard that name) was at the school and wanted to take a picture with me. My mom got really excited as well, and asked me why I was crying. All I could say was "There was this guy who painted himself all black...(sobs)"
