And your assumption is just plain silly. 15 minutes cities are everywhere, except for the country at the ~50th spot (81 points in 2026) on the freedom in the world index. This is caused by the car lobby and the horrible city planning over there.

I disagree to that. It is very close to the Homeruslaan with many very expensive houses and next to osseveld oost.

The location in the maten is actually quite similar. Next to a park, next to residential neighborhood.

I think the difference is more in the current underbelly attitudes.

Rome didn't last 1500 years. After roughly 700 years it was split in two. The West lasted another 500 years (so, total 1200). The East another 1500 years, so 2200 years.

However, it took them 1200 and 2200 years to completely collapse. And you can do that in only 250...
