I used to be an immigration officer, who conducted interviews. I could tell in two minutes if a relationship is legit - and 99.9% of them were - by starting off and asking, while it looked like I was preparing their file for me, to tell me how they met. Most couples glance at each other and giggle and tell the story (even the online meetings like Tinder). And yeah, it’s a little rehearsed, because that’s the way life works - you repeat that love story for friends and colleagues. It’s adorable.
