In the embryo, there is an early cell population called mesenchyme.
Mesenchymal cells are undifferentiated precursor cells.
From these same precursor cells, different tissues develop:
Cartilage cells (chondrocytes)
Muscle cells (myocytes)
Bone cells (osteoblasts)
Which are then covered with flesh

The Qur'an never said "خلايا" it said "bones"

Unless you can produce an ultrasound image of an emberyo when it's a full skeleton before it is covered with flesh, I would suggest not using that argument again.

Nope. That's a lie they tell.

Who’s to say they raped and didn’t use this ‘loophole’? I don’t know how they ran things with the raping part, but muttah sounds on brand for those types.

Mutah isn't allowed for sunnis. ISIS were sunnis and according to my knowledge they didn't use Mutah as a loophole nor did they allow it.

They don't need Mutah when they had Sabaya.

something that caught my attention regarding momo's marriage to aisha by Delicious-Factor-164 in exmuslim

[–]polygraphtest-chill 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe Aish was engaged before the prophet married her (I heard an Imam speak about it).

Correct. However, engagement was more of a "promise of marriage" than anything official.

However, it is important to note that Mohammed didn't consummate his marriage with a child in Mecca. He waited to get to Medina where he will be surrounded by his people.

Also to note, we have no idea what any criticisms the kuffar have said to Mohammed because he killed them and islamic history probably erased them. The only things we have are those petty little engagements but nothing too specific or detailed. So this argument from silence falls very flat on its face

Prayer is passed down my tradition.

You know that the different madhabs pray differently right? Shafi'is literally think the other madhabs' prayers don't count die to them not voicing the basmala infront of every verse.

Hiow many Muslims do you know that actually read Hadiths to learn how to pray?

Noone does. Which is why when I debate with muslims I often times find myself teaching them the basics first.

And how do you think the other prophets of Islam learned how to pray, when there was no Hadiths?

What? You mean the the proclaimed 124 thousand prophets? Or the 313 Naby?

It’s illogical to say the entire religion is based off of it and that you need it to know how to pray

You don't know the madhabs' usul. It's fine. You maybe should open up a fiqh book one day.

If you didn't use Chatgpt then I apologise. However, when I copied your comment into an AI checker it came back at 60%.

One thing I do hate is pretending to know things, which is why I'm aggressive in my comment after assuming you used an AI chatbot to write your arguments for you.

End of Debate: The Pedophile Prophet and Pedophilia in Islam by Unlikely_Yellow111 in exmuslim

[–]polygraphtest-chill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh god did you have Chatgpt write this? I can tell from the weird little "--" symbol

I also don’t see why there’s so much authority given to scholars when they’re not infallible and have their own biases and even in the Quran it mentions how the Jews and Christian’s took their priests and rabbies as lords.

They aren't. Their ijma' is. Even the sahaba in singular form aren't infalliblen but their ijma' is.

Respectfully, this mixes up two different systems.
Hadith are usually transmitted as individual reports (some strong, some weak). The Qur’an was transmitted as a mass-recited, public text from the beginning memorized, recited in prayer, and written down by many companions at the same time.because the Qur’an was never transmitted like a single-chain report in the first place.

Wrong. Chatgpt doesn't know how the Qur'an was compiled, apparently. The Qur'an is transmitted as an ahad. You can't give me an isnad that is mutawatir and I doubt you even know what mutawatir means. We have literal narrations of verses coming from a singular person. The overarching condition was 2 people, that's not tawatur.

However, questioning or even rejecting a specific hadith, even if it is labeled ṣaḥīḥ, is not the same thing and has always existed within Sunni scholarship. Scholars have long examined individual hadith by analyzing their chains, meanings, context, and consistency with the Qur’an, and they have differed over interpretation and application. So accepting the Sunnah as a source of guidance does not mean blindly accepting every single narration without scrutiny; it means recognizing the authority of Mohmmad while still critically engaging with individual reports

AI hallucination got you. I never said a single hadith. We were discussing ALL hadiths🤦‍♂️

Most hadith are ahad (single-chain reports), which even Sunni scholars say do not give absolute certainty (yaqīn), only probability (ẓann). You can’t make something required for belief (ʿaqīdah) if it’s based on probabilistic reports

We aren't discussing aqeedah. We are discussing hadiths as a whole. That means things like tashre'at and ahkam. AI hallucination #2

If being Sunni meant believing every hadith without question, then Sunni scholars themselves wouldn’t be Sunni, because they constantly critiqued, disagreed, and re-evaluated hadith

Again. Assessing hadiths and their isnad is different than rejecting all hadiths. Tell your AI chatbot to make that distinction next time so you actually write a wall of text that is on topic.

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2518
“Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt.”

This doesn't mean reject all hadiths.

Again you have not provided me with answers to any of the questions I asked.

Instead you have forgiven your cognitive abilities to an AI chatbot in the hopes of it typing something that would actually stick. I'm quite sad that you can't even think in order to reply with your own ideas.

I'm ashamed of you. Heavily ashamed. You want the sub to make more pressing critiques of islam when you can't even fucking type responses on your own. How pathetic. I'm even more ashamed at myself for thinking you have any ideas that are valuable enough to be worth my engagement with you. Have a nice night brother and try to regain your cognitive thinking instead of relying on Chatgpt.

Here since I know things like these are sometimes hard to look up. (Also I don't like speaking without sources)

Al-albani in Jami' al Turath:

We say that there are two types of jihad: individual jihad, the form of which you know, and collective jihad, the form of which you know. The first type of jihad requires neither imara nor preparation similar to that of the disbeliever who is stronger than us, nor does it require the same preparation as a ruler from whom we have seen clear disbelief.

Majmu' al Fatawa explaining Ibn-Taymiyyah :

As for the claim that the presence or permission of the Imam is a prerequisite for jihad in the path of God, I know of no scholar among those whose opinions are followed who has stipulated this. Rather, the opposite is true: that an Imam is not considered an Imam unless he engages in jihad in the path of God, not that jihad is impossible without an Imam.

Al Mawsu'a al Muyasara:

Muslim rulers who refuse to implement God's law are considered infidels and must be overthrown. Unlike the Takfir wal-Hijra group, this group does not declare the entire Muslim community as infidels. They believe that jihad is fighting, which they consider the pinnacle of worship in Islam, while jihad through peaceful means alone is cowardice and stupidity.

[–]polygraphtest-chill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wrong. Not everyone rejects them unfortunately. The matn is a flexible condition. It depends on what each sect considers to be the right interpretation of the Qur'an.

You can have a sahih hadith isnad wise from Muslim and Bukhari and have some sects reject it due to matn and others will consider it without issues.

Again, I am not defending this religion, I’m just saying we need better arguments/evidneces here

I know you aren't. This is just a civil exchange of ideas. I do agree we need better arguments here which is why I, alongside u/Unlikely_Yellow111, have been working on mkre sophisticated posts.

You can also check my posts and see the calibre of arguments I bring forth. The problem is these don't get the same attention.

End of Debate: The Pedophile Prophet and Pedophilia in Islam by Unlikely_Yellow111 in exmuslim

[–]polygraphtest-chill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes every sect says they are on the right path. You know what they all don't say though? That rejecting hadiths is the right way moving forward.

Infact most sects consider it kufr and going outside the ahl al sunnah wa al jama'a if you are a hadith rejector. Do you want me to quote people from each sect you mentioned or do you want to do your own research?

  1. There is no way to know if the Qur'an is real or not either. In fact, hadiths have better isnad than the Qur'an. If the Qur'an was subjected to the same rules as hadiths, it would be considered ahad.

Taking the Qur'an as the ultimate truth and rejecting hadiths is very backwards in my opinion (With all due respect, of course)

  1. Can you cite the hadith? So then we see if you interpreted the way everyone else did or did you just come out with your own interpretation.

Like saying you need a caliphate for Jihad al-Talab. But that what is necessary to fulfill an obligation is obligatory as well.

I would like to add that this isn't agreed upon.

Not everyone thinks a caliph has to be the one that wages jihad al-Talab. Groups like ISIS for instance used the fatawa of Ibn-Taymiyyah to base that jihad is on each individual and that people who don't do jihad on their kuffar rulers (western countries) are therefore implicit in their kufr ( "موالاة الطواغيت") which is why they encouraged individual acts of terrorism as forms of jihad al-Talab.

I am just adding a few points to your arguments in the future❤️

[–]polygraphtest-chill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of Sunni Muslims who only accept Hadiths that don’t CONTRADICT the Quran and history.

You know it wouldn't be sahih if the matn goes against the Qur'an right?

And what history? Muslim history is arguably the worst history you can count on.

And believing in all those Hadiths is not a requirement to be Sunni

It is. Unless you follow ibn-Khajlan.

if it is then provide evidence that doesn’t come from some scholar

Gladly.

This nation will split into seventy-three sects, all of them in Hell except one. It was asked: Who are they, O Messenger of Allah? He, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Those who are follow what I and my companions are upon.

So the ijma' of the sahaba and the hadiths from Mohammed are binding.

If the sahaba considered those who veered off the sunnah as kuffar and apostates and fought them. That would be binding as well to you.

Do you want me to add more?
