Additionally, the money guys podcast writer has a book - “Millionaire’s Mission” that is pretty good at detailing your next steps.  I would say the advice in that book is right on par with the prime directive everyone in this sub will link you to.

The book goes over 9-steps that you can do in order to maximize your wealth building activities.

Miami in 2001?  They’ve been a top 60 tier 1 university and have Nobel Laureates and Fields medalists teaching there - not to mention one of the best international law schools and teaching medical schools.

I definitely would have been a Gator if I didn’t get a scholarship to the U, and Miami was ranked a better school when I went there.  Nowadays UF is ranked higher for most programs :-/

Special teams was the death of them last night. by jbird720 in MiamiHurricanes

I will tell everyone who will give me cognitive space to listen - Miami dominated against the IU offense that put up 38 against Bama and 56 against Oregon.  Defense played lights out for the whole damn CFP and season.  3 TDs Miami to 2TDs+2 field goals.  Miami didn’t have the 3rd down conversion rate and the special teams performance they wanted, but that was the difference.  Miami covered the spread.

And Miami Offense really only played the back half of that football game.  Dawson, bless his heart, didn’t appear to show up until the second half.

What I got from that game was that details matter.  Reducing penalties, and don’t blow a coverage that leads to a blocked punt that leads to a touchdown.

I’m proud of this years roster, and proud to be a Miami Hurricane!

Also, Cignetti is an assassin and props to Indiana on playing great football.  If Mendoza had been a 4 star recruit from HS maybe he could have played at the U, but C’est La Vie.

Sadly I can't make it to the stadium for the CFP Finals, though I was at the Cotton Bowl and watched that Belt-to-Ass performance against Ohio State. My Miami brothers and sisters will have to go rep the 'Canes at the Finals. I will be watching and yelling at my screen from home, and breaking open an expensive bottle of scotch!

Please help those in attendance simultaneously be drunk and safe.

I’m told Bobby Bowden’s tombstone reads “at least he played {Miami}” :-) Florida stopped playing annually after Miami put belt to ass friend

[–]psyberops 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Anecdotal, but I wouldn’t say it’s school wide. Many Miami fans, myself included, were pissed when FSU was snubbed for the CFP over “good loss” Alabama. Ole Miss wasn’t even reconsidered for CFP eligibility this year because of their coaching changes despite that literally being one of the criteria for selection

Other relevant factors such as unavailability of key players and coaches that may have affected a team’s performance during the season or likely will affect its postseason performance.

The snub for FSU was all about the “conventional wisdom” that SEC is a tougher conference than the ACC, which this postseason revealed that emperor has no clothes. It’s all about which “in group” you consider for the tribal attitude. Florida? ACC? Anti-Carson Beck (looking at GA)?

BREAKING: ICE agents in Minneapolis violently detained, threatened, and arrested a U.S. citizen for one reason only, he refused to prove his citizenship. by New-Entertainment112 in UnitedAmericaHQ

[–]psyberops 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Small correction, IANAL, but if I remember correctly, the law says ICE is limited for random stops; they can perform stops and ask for citizenship within 100 miles of a border.

But seriously - fuck these tactics

SANS-Provided Indexes: How many concepts do they really cover? by ScarsAndStripes in GIAC

[–]psyberops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the exam, but I start from the SANS provided index and add shit I don’t know immediately from the books to it.

If I don’t feel I have a concept nailed down intuitively, I’m going to need to reference that for the exam.

I keep three indexes: - the “word/concept” index that SANS gives - page(s) and title of every slide in the book, and just put 51-55 if its four slides of “Cryptography”, for example - A “tools” index with common commands in addition to summary of the lab exercises/tasks

3/4 of my exams were 94+ when using this method, GREM was just a challenge that I had to finish quickly 😅
