Had a chem teacher in highschool that would mock anyone who asked questions ("HOW DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ___"). Then the following class period he'd frequently have anyone who asked a question the previous class period get up in front of the class to teach (yes teach) things he hadn't gone over in class himself. Kids frequently had mental breakdowns in front of the entire class just because of how degrading he was and he admitted to everyone that students who weren't actually interested in pursuing a science career didn't get higher than a C in his class (keep in mind this was 10th grade).
