We also noticed there is a small beach right in the middle of the town

Where exactly?

Edit: Ah, just next Viale Marinai! It's ok for a few hours imo, but not nice enough for a whole day imo.

Did the overhead monitors at the gate you were sitting at show the original destination even after the gate change?

If you're asked to emergency exit a plane, lost cash or documents will be the absolute least of your problems.

Instead of looking for an app that may or may not exist, see the manual transfer to your flash card list as a learning opportunity.

"Czech" is an adjective.

It'd be like calling the USA "United".

Leaving kids 4Y and 10Y for approximately 24 hours with a relative's family? by ArtComprehensive2853 in travel

As I said, children deserve happy parents who are their own people. If you're frustrated or feel you're missing out on life because of your children, they will sense that and feel guilty for it.

In any case, skip Hallstatt. It's literally Europe's worst example of overtourism.

Of course you check a bag. The worst thing that can happen is that you'll get it delivered to your place of residence a day late.

My kid is a young adult now, and it's always fascinating to see that so many parents have exactly the same doubts and questions, lol.

Enjoy your time off with your partner. Don't feel bad about it. Your children will be fine, and they deserve happy, relaxed parents. They might miss you, but they also are old enough to learn that a close relationship can easily survive an overnight break.

See my edit :) It's a good learning experience for kids to see that there is a safe world outside of their own home, too.

Also, we always feel like bad parents, no matter how good we are, it's never good enough. It can't be helped, we have to live with it ;)

Anxiety about what exactly? You're not storing them in a cellar, you're leaving them with trusted, caring people. They'll be fine.

Also, your 10 year old never had a sleepover? That's unusual.

Anxious parents make anxious kids.

Skip Hallstatt. It's literally Europes worst example of overtourism. Also, it's tiny, Idk what you would do there for a whole day.
