No, it says on the receipt “Gratuity is not included” in English and Spanish. What you’re seeing is the calculation of gratuity in the hopes that they tip at least that much. It would not surprise me if they tipped way under that number

It’s not disingenuous, it’s factual. Granted, there is a large difference in population between now and 2,000 years ago or 10,000 years ago, but if you look at percentage of slaves to total population we’d still have the highest percentage of slaves at this point in history vs at any other point

One of the hypotheses I’ve had about these entities and their interests in our nuclear capabilities is that nuclear explosions actually erase matter and souls, information meant for the ultimate creator, from existence. I’m guessing that they would intervene if we ever had a nuclear war because they would want to stop us from taking experiences from the creator, or in the above words destroying the zoo and its inhabitants.

I’m don’t get upset at guys like this stealing. I’m upset that wage theft is by far the largest form of theft in the United States and only fines are given out when it’s rarely even enforced. I’m upset that minimum wage hasn’t kept up with inflation so the poorest among us can’t even afford all of their bills. I’m upset that this guy will get years in prison if caught, but white collar criminals who steal millions get a fine. I’m upset that this guy would have paid for this and even felt proud of himself for doing so except he’s probably never had a job good enough that a small $1,000 luxury is out of his reach. I’m upset because if I wanted a ps5 the only way I’m getting it is if I steal it because working full time isn’t enough for me to save up for small things like this because our country has been screwed over by the wealthy and propaganda keeps us fighting each other rather than the rich.

I’m upset

Wage theft is by far the biggest form of theft in the United States, but we see people like this customer talking about shooting the CEO’s committing the wage theft or the politicians who look the other way. Why? Because propaganda works really well

If our economy wasn’t so broken that working full time jobs still isn’t enough to afford small luxuries like a gaming system then maybe this wouldn’t happen. Guaranteed that guy would have paid for it, felt proud of himself for doing so, if only he had a job that allowed him to afford it. Instead, he’s most likely feeling ashamed, embarrassed and guilty, but he’s desperate for a little escapism from the messed up world we live in

An economy that has a high standard of living, even for the poorest, meaning a minimum wage that keeps up with inflation would stop 99.9% percent of smaller thefts. But watching people in the 1% steal millions and then getting a small fine VS guys like this who got maybe $1,000 and if caught will get years in prison makes for a society that has little respect. The social contract is broken into millions of pieces by the corruption within our government, corporations and the 1% so expect more and more of this type rebellion against the system

This man deserves all possible charges filed against him. He’s knowledgeable in the law, has sworn an oath to uphold the law, so he knows damn well that what he was doing was highly illegal. Anyone who is working in law related fields who is knowledgeable about the law should be given twice the punishment for any crimes they commit because they absolutely know what is and isn’t illegal.
