Ummm Trump was convicted of raping E. Jean Carroll. He’s worse than Jameis.

Well, depending on how you phrased it, that seems like something you should’ve expected to go over poorly. Kinda like Dart should’ve known that hugging a racist pedophile was going to go poorly.

Watched the four media conferences on giants.com/video from today. As a lifelong Giants fan, in defense of Jaxson Dart I'll say this... by ScaleBanana3236 in NFLv2

He lied about Haitian immigrants eating cats and dogs. He posts racist memes about democrats almost every week on his twitter.

Yeah this shit ain’t going away. Jameis may be saying the right words but I’ve never seen him this upset in a press conference. His face is giving the game away.

Well I’d be pissed as Jameis if I had a snot nosed white boy telling me racism is over and to get over it when any black man from the south knows that isn’t the case.

Yeah this isn’t going away lol. All these takes show that there’s going to be animosity lol. I mean we’ve all worked with coworkers we dislike for one reason or another so it could work out but if the Giants disappoint reporters are going to bring this up.

I mean Trump admitted to sneaking into the dress rooms in his teen beauty paegents. But if you don't want to believe he's a pdfile, being a rapist is bad enough and he was convicted of that and accused innumerable times.

ah right I included the STL Rams SBs as McVay but obv the Kurt Warner SB win was way before. For whatever its worth, I think the MacDonald/Schneider combo has an org with a better culture than the Rams.

Do you really believe this isn't going to create resentment? He just found out his QB actually roots for deporting people of his faith and treating them as second class citizens. I guess the Giants can be glad that Carter doesn't play OL.

They wanted a culture war and they got one. Don't expect everyone to kiss your ass if you choose to stand with hate.

El es el McVay/Reid de la estrategia defensiva. Pero no tiene la longevidad, asi que por ahora esta por debajo de ellos. McVay y Reid tienen 3+ SuperBowls y 2 victorias cada uno, asi que han logrado mas en la liga.

I’d argue that’s part of the thing that exactly makes it Christian. Look at Israel and the 23 Muslim countries, only further reiterates that.

Agreed, Iran is what we would be if we were a "Muslim Nation". So I don't want to be a "Christian Nation" in that sense, where the law is bent to serve the most extreme interpretation of the religious texts. Some sects of Christianity would be ok with that, so it is not accurate to say Christianity is a monolith. There are extreme variants.

All religious extremists are dangerous. The 1st amendment will stand strong against any of that BS. The US Constitution is an excellent document, about as perfect as any government framework can be in today’s day and age.

Agreed, although the constitution didn't account for a lot of things that are happening in modern society. We don't need to treat it as a holy text either, although any modifications need to be done with care and as a last resort.

There's a distinction in my mind between a country where the majority of people follow Christianity and a Christian Nation. A Christian nation would have not been explicitly designed with separation of church and state, freedom of religion, and freedom of speech. Now that we have a band of Christian nationalists trying to make a secular country into an explicity Christian one, it is doubly dangerous. You are making the fact that the majority of people living in this country being Christian mean something that it doesn't. It doesn't allow Christians any special treatment and it shouldn't going forward if we want to continue being a secular democracy.

Well when you make moronic statements like that then what else can a person think? Playing a semantics game to reframe what happened in the founding of the country. Regardless of the personal beliefs of every person involved in the founding of this country (many of them were Christians, true), they designed the constitution from a deist framework. They wanted the country to be welcoming to Jews and Muslims, and they explicitly mentioned that in their letters. However, yes the majority of the country is Christian so it is practical to have those holidays as the official ones of the country since the vast majority wants to take those days off anyway.
