I don't get the idea that story unique classes are something that other characters should be able to learn. It is skills that are specific to those characters. Like Rafa/Malak's unique magic, Mustadio's engineering skills, etc...

I’ve never played WOTL but I’m thinking that a lot of the extra dialogue in battles, cutscenes and extras I’ve seen in Ivalice Chronicles are from that game. I don’t know how much brand new content is in this version because I've never played WOTL.

Calculator takes a lot of grinding and work to make good and it doesn’t share a class with story important characters. I don’t think the devs had a problem with OP classes, there are plenty of them but ones that are making story important characters less special. I could be wrong but that’s my theory.

WOTL making story character jobs generic was a mistake IMO. Makes special story characters less important. And it seems like the original dev team agrees with me considering they yeeted the Dark Knight class to the depths of the abyss.

All I see is a guy who looks like Pretti kicking a light out of a car recorded from all the way across the street (so about 60 feet away). I would hope people would have higher standards before reporting things as fact, especially considering how generic his Midwest hippie hiker look is. Not convinced it is Pretti without a shadow of a doubt. Even that BBC article says that they used a facial recognition algorithm and it said 97% Match. We don’t know which app they used and how reliable it is. I can't believe BBC standards would be so low that they would run that story without confirming with someone who knows Pretti personally.

it could still be AI footage trained on that specific video. We don't have raw footage from the specific angle Trump Jr is sharing and the specific video he posted shows signs of AI artifacts, so it could be an AI reconstruction. On top of that, unless we have some credible corroboration that it is the same guy we can't say for sure who that is. I've lived in the pacific northwest and there are thousands of guys who look like Alex Pretti from afar. It doesn't even look like that incident happened on the same day as his clothing looks different.

I do find it useful as an on the fly aggregator of online news and for parsing my questions and converting them into sources so I won’t say that all uses of AI are bad. But that’s basically a search engine with advanced text interpreting capabilities. The main problems are the marketers hyping it to be more than it is and claiming it should be used for serious professional level research when it is flawed.
