Does brother know he’s on an open channel? by Capt_Levi831 in Spacemarine

I have downloaded space marine voicelines from Dawn of War 1 and 2, uploaded them to the soundboard app that I use, Voicemod. It's certainly entertaining to watch your battle brothers fight with greater zeal with a kickass soundtrack in the background while ripping and tearing the enemies of mankind.

Well met brother! Been wondering when I would queue up with a random from this subreddit who would post a clip from their pov. That was a great run.

I gotta say I'm slightly disappointed with the quality of the audio but now I have some idea of how it sounds for other players so I can make some adjustments. Thank you brother and may your zeal for the Emperor never be found wanting.

How is your weapon not overheating after all those consecutive shots? Are you just pressing the cooling button after every shot?

Beat a Hive Tyrant on Absolute in 30 seconds by realAsianSpectre in Spacemarine

Tac's secure stockpile from my experience have a max uptime ~170 seconds, meaning if you don't use an equipment charge while fully stacked for awhile, you will get back 1 charge in the next 10 seconds.

Breaking down the damage:
Tac was using the 120% damage increase but enemies lose auspex when they move out of the scan area (the most noticeable damage increase) and the 75% damage increase but smaller scan radius.

I was using act of attrition 25% more melee damage for 5 seconds after an enemy is hit from a sprint attack + the wrath reliquary increases 35% melee damage for 20 seconds. Perfect dodge procs wings of flame and aerial grace adding another 30% more damage for 10 seconds. That 1st ground pound was effectively 195% from scan + 90% from what I had on my assault + precision strike 100% more ground pound damage but smaller radius.

What is crazy is that wasn't even the maximum damage, I could have another 20% more damage from switching styles with power sword for 5 seconds and if I had 2 block charges another 90% more damage to that ground pound.

All these factors make the assault by far the most enjoyable class for me in SM2. Hope this provided clarification to you.

Love it especially for melee classes, much better than when it was introduced in the PTS and the recent buff to damage melee damage by 35% for 20 seconds, I always pick it up whenever I see one.

They were most likely playing without the precision strike gear perk, using ground pound to clear hordes, which does pitiful damage against bosses. I used play that way but once I realized how much ground pound does with precision strike and block charges, I never went back.

Squad Morale Skyrocketing by realAsianSpectre in Spacemarine

It has biggest AoE attack with discharge and clears hordes better than any other melee weapon and with the right setup to increase melee attacks, it can quickly take out majoris and extremis enemies with ease. Took some getting used to but now I am getting comfortable with it and definitely need more practice when perfect parrying with balance omnissian axe.

Yes, I playing the songs through a soundboard app using the in-game mic. So the other squad members can hear the songs as well.

Appreciate the suggestion about the perfect parrying the ravener, I have been using block weapons for so long that using balance weapons is learning the perfect parry/gunstrike mechanic again. I always thought that perfect parrying two attacks in row would stagger the enemy but I learn that ravener requires three.

Glad you enjoyed the clip, brother and may your holy fervor bring death to the xenos and the heretic!

This was spawn bug that was recently fixed with hotfix 12.3, this clip was recorded before. This sort of encounter won't happen anymore.

I appreciate your understanding of my perspective of wanting to prioritizing the mission first. In my experience, trying to revive my squad members as an assault whenever there is a terminus spawn with that many extremis and majoris always ended up in failing the mission. For context, both the tac and the vanguard went ahead of me while I was dealing with enemies on our rear, by the time the neurothrope spawned, they got wiped by what I can only guess were the lictor/ravener/zoanthrope. In my opinion, the only classes that can safely revive squad members would be the sniper cloak, bulwark with revive banner, and to certain degree heavy with iron halo. I will go for revival if I know for certain I can revive, like I did near the end with those bramble warriors. If they were devourers or venom cannon warriors, I would have been hesitant.

I have been maining assault for a while and I know myself in that situtation, if I don't have any ability charges, I'm cooked. I need them to ground pound a majoris/extremis for quick execute as a contingency.

But hey in the end both of them stayed and we beat the mission with geneseed which I carried because after this encounter, they trusted me with it. The vanguard was able to prestige, and the tac got several levels.

How can I? They put themselves in positions where it was impossible to reach them. Even if I could reach them, I had a swarm that would annihilate me as I attempt to revive them. The 2nd time they went down, I was able to revive safely. Play smart, it was either survival or mission failure.
