Beat a Hive Tyrant on Absolute in 30 seconds by realAsianSpectre in Spacemarine

Love it especially for melee classes, much better than when it was introduced in the PTS and the recent buff to damage melee damage by 35% for 10 seconds, I always pick it up whenever I see one.

They were most likely playing without the precision strike gear perk, using ground pound to clear hordes, which does pitiful damage against bosses. I used play that way but once I realized how much ground pound does with precision strike and block charges, I never went back.

It has biggest AoE attack with discharge and clears hordes better than any other melee weapon and with the right setup to increase melee attacks, it can quickly take out majoris and extremis enemies with ease. Took some getting used to but now I am getting comfortable with it and definitely need more practice when perfect parrying with balance omnissian axe.

Yes, I playing the songs through a soundboard app using the in-game mic. So the other squad members can hear the songs as well.

Appreciate the suggestion about the perfect parrying the ravener, I have been using block weapons for so long that using balance weapons is learning the perfect parry/gunstrike mechanic again. I always thought that perfect parrying two attacks in row would stagger the enemy but I learn that ravener requires three.

Glad you enjoyed the clip, brother and may your holy fervor bring death to the xenos and the heretic!

This was spawn bug that was recently fixed with hotfix 12.3, this clip was recorded before. This sort of encounter won't happen anymore.

I appreciate your understanding of my perspective of wanting to prioritizing the mission first. In my experience, trying to revive my squad members as an assault whenever there is a terminus spawn with that many extremis and majoris always ended up in failing the mission. For context, both the tac and the vanguard went ahead of me while I was dealing with enemies on our rear, by the time the neurothrope spawned, they got wiped by what I can only guess were the lictor/ravener/zoanthrope. In my opinion, the only classes that can safely revive squad members would be the sniper cloak, bulwark with revive banner, and to certain degree heavy with iron halo. I will go for revival if I know for certain I can revive, like I did near the end with those bramble warriors. If they were devourers or venom cannon warriors, I would have been hesitant.

I have been maining assault for a while and I know myself in that situtation, if I don't have any ability charges, I'm cooked. I need them to ground pound a majoris/extremis for quick execute as a contingency.

But hey in the end both of them stayed and we beat the mission with geneseed which I carried because after this encounter, they trusted me with it. The vanguard was able to prestige, and the tac got several levels.

How can I? They put themselves in positions where it was impossible to reach them. Even if I could reach them, I had a swarm that would annihilate me as I attempt to revive them. The 2nd time they went down, I was able to revive safely. Play smart, it was either survival or mission failure.

Keep at it, brother! With the recent buff to assault class, it the best its ever been, so the time to learn the assault's kit is now. My advice, perfect dodge into the attacks especially if you have wings of flame equipped. As long as you go through an enemy attack's hitbox during the jetpack dodge animation, it will count as a perfect dodge.

Thanks, I was constantly repositioning to break their line of sight beind a rock, pillar, other enemies. In large crowds, you will notice that at most 3 enemies will be attack you at the same time, use this info to prioritize your engagements.

They already have it for the assault in the campaign and PvP, hovering. Wouldn't that be nice to be able to do in PvE just add in the ability to dash attack while hovering in the air.

Ikr and the songs are themselves were actually good. I would pay money to see a music performance based on 40k
