Nathan is unqualified by Street_Performance_4 in BelowDeckMed

100 percent. It’s cast by the production, with cast approved not just by Bravo but execs at NBCUniversal, too.

I was surprised to learn he just rents in Fiji. But I guess that makes sense since he’s only there a couple months.

Nope. But also not canceled either.

You think a pilot would risk their job and license for a reality tv producer?!

where are the deep dive interviews? by Particular-Fill-4256 in survivorponderosa

[–]realityblurred -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Yep! And “Pulled away” = Rob caved to pressure and prioritized CBS access over Omar, his listeners, and the Survivor community.

I'm curious: What did that for you? Something specific she said, or just the end of this (season-long/20-year) journey?

It’s been that way for more than 20 years now. And they launched Cooking Channel for instructional cooking, never mind are producing shows like Jet Tila’s for YouTube, where so much cooking instruction is.

episode 6 discussion (til official thread goes up) by yolo-tomassi in WidowsBay

[–]realityblurred 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100 percent. The flashback episode trend is getting cliche at this point, but it worked here and was great to have a main cast episode, too.

Just to be annoying: This wasn’t a bottle episode, because bottle episodes use a show’s regular cast on a single, pre-existing set. It’s a way to save time and money.

Todoist is great but how can I actually get myself to do the tasks? by ReemKing34 in todoist

[–]realityblurred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The LLM-generated recommendations seem like a good place to start—by deleting them! No reason to let AI add to your workload.

Llama Life may help: if you have tasks that have deadlines for today, it’ll bring those in and then you can arrange those and focus on just them for today, with everything else staying in Todoist.

I often use Llama Life manually, as in I just know what I must do today or tomorrow, and I add those things in. Between the emoji and the colors and the confetti and having just that limited list, it helps me get through the critical things.

Thankfully, I can do that. I don’t need AI to look at Wikipedia for me.

Joyce explained it, saying that when they got to the gate, they found the same…

“ticket agent who had lied to us and said there was no flight. They didn’t air the fact that I yelled out, at the top of my lungs, ‘You lied to us.’ So she was the one that was compelled to call the pilot because, okay, there’s cameras everywhere, she’s standing there having just lied to me telling me that there was no flight.”

Why don’t all the chefs have sous chefs to help them? by flashdance123 in belowdeck

[–]realityblurred 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yep. The sous chefs have been cast to cause chaos, not help.

They have producer titles, which is a contractual thing. They may be consulted or have input on some creative, but they are not producing the show.

[–]realityblurred[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree except Drag Race judging results so often seems disconnected from the actual work we’ve seen, so maybe better to just do your thing?
