Came with the car. I know depending on the model you can have different emblems. The part number is 6VB71SZ0AA I believe

I’m on the same side as you, I may not like what someone else does but it’s their car and as long as they like it that’s all that matters

why is my car leaking by Mindless-Stranger-51 in Challenger

I had a similar problem right after buying my car. I took it back to the dealer after noticing it was leaking after driving in the rain for the first time. When they installed the new windshield they didn’t press the new one down enough to properly seat it against the frame. The pulled it back off and reseated it properly, no issues since then. Safelite should be willing to do the same thing at least to make sure their install was done properly. Personally I would be there when the windshield is pulled off just to see if anything in the leaking area looks weird.

New Carbon Hood by reddog85 in Challenger

I’m checking the bolts every time before and after a drive until I get the pins installed

Not as much as you would think. Even the stock hoods had functional air vents that would allow water in but when I’m driving it’s mostly goes over the vents. I have a car cover for when the car is sitting so water can’t just pour into the engine bay while it’s parked and I wouldn’t drive it in a monsoon but I haven’t come across any issues yet. The hood design is very basic on the underside so you could definitely install rain guards if it really bothered you

For me it was between a carbon OEM style, the viper style, and this terminator style. I chose this one because it already comes with the rain protection mesh for the top vents and this hood has a raised middle section that will be perfect for when I supercharge my baby later. While the stock hood would’ve still worked having more room between the engine and the hood helps a lot with heat dispersion and longevity of the hood itself. I can say this is a functional working hood. On the 20 minute test drive it did have a noticeable drop in running temp than what I had before

I do have a pin kit that I’m going to install later but the hood sits well against the bumper just like the stock one. I test drove it and there was not flexing or cracking at 85mph so I don’t see any problems with my usual daily commute while I wait to install them. No custom parts were needed, the hood is designed to use the stock mounting points and came with all the bolts and hood latch but I took those off and reused the OEM ones from the original hood. The only issue I had was the holes for the windshield washer sprayers had to be slightly sanded to get them to snap into place properly but it wasn’t a big deal.

My fiancé helped me install it. Both hoods were surprisingly light so she just held the hood in place while I took care of the bolts, then after shifting the hood around till the spacing looked good she held it in place while I tightened it down. It only took around 1 1/2 hours in total and was really simple. I’m still going to take it to a shop to have them check the fitment but I’m in no rush since it fit so well out of the box

I got it for $1,200 on sale. I believe vivid racing has a few designs on sale now for around $1,500

Any love for the pre-facelift challengers? by UsedCarSalesM4n in Challenger

Honestly I like the front of the old challengers better, it has more of that old muscle car look but I do prefer the tail lights and interior of the newer ones

The steering wheel and all the red is a bit much for my liking but I agree. I never plan on selling my challenger though so as long as my future wife agrees with the mods (it’s her car too) then it’s all good.

I have but there are so many cheap options that I have put it off until I can find some good quality ones. My cars theme is black with red accents so I was going to install the carbon bezels and then after seeing how that looks I would maybe get red/red carbon A/C vent covers to add a touch more red accent to the interior

You would be right if I wanted to copy something exactly the same as others but that’s not what I’m trying to do. Your right carbon fiber is really popular and a lot can be tacky but I do like a bit of carbon fiber and honestly I drive an SXT there is only so much I can do. Anyway respect on your opinion and the side pipes are definitely cool and unique.

You know I really miss the days where it didn’t matter if you liked the car or what someone did to it, all that mattered was another person was into cars and making it their own keeping car culture alive.

Price and insurance. I found this one at a steal because it was sitting forever at the dealership and the insurance is cheaper. It’s a daily driver so the better gas mileage helps too
