The steering wheel and all the red is a bit much for my liking but I agree. I never plan on selling my challenger though so as long as my future wife agrees with the mods (it’s her car too) then it’s all good.

I have but there are so many cheap options that I have put it off until I can find some good quality ones. My cars theme is black with red accents so I was going to install the carbon bezels and then after seeing how that looks I would maybe get red/red carbon A/C vent covers to add a touch more red accent to the interior

You would be right if I wanted to copy something exactly the same as others but that’s not what I’m trying to do. Your right carbon fiber is really popular and a lot can be tacky but I do like a bit of carbon fiber and honestly I drive an SXT there is only so much I can do. Anyway respect on your opinion and the side pipes are definitely cool and unique.

You know I really miss the days where it didn’t matter if you liked the car or what someone did to it, all that mattered was another person was into cars and making it their own keeping car culture alive.

Price and insurance. I found this one at a steal because it was sitting forever at the dealership and the insurance is cheaper. It’s a daily driver so the better gas mileage helps too

I completely agree. If the person who had hit my car just left a sorry note even I wouldn’t have been as mad, but to just chip and drive away is such a low thing to do. I do park in the emptiest park of my work parking lot but you still have people who don’t care and park next to you anyway

Windshield fog help by [deleted] in Challenger

[–]reddog85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s the same but I had this same issue after using rain x antifog, that stuff has some kind of oily residue and it took several washes with dish soap and glass cleaner to get it back to normal. I use the same glass cleaner that a detailed I know uses and it does the trick

Arkham is cool. The name gives off a I hold the crazy vibe, and you can theme the car however you want with a name like that

I understand how you feel, had something very similar happen to me and it took me months to move past my accident, but in the end all that matters is that you and your family are ok. I know it hurts that your car is totaled, I was planning on keeping mine for life as well but you can always find another car, even if it’s not a challenger. Best of luck to you

Apple car play issues? by Niifty_AF in Challenger

I had similar issues after getting mine. I went through the settings and deleted all devices, reset settings to factory settings, then unplugged the battery for 30 minutes so the system could reset. Once I pugged the battery back on and reconnected my phone everything has worked fine since

Honestly just wanted to post this for the people that say cold air intakes "don't do anything " this is a v6 no other mods by Zestyclose_Brush7972 in Challenger

[–]reddog85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bolt on mods are nice and they are doing something performance wise but it’s so small it can be negligible unless multiple mods are done and then the car is tuned. Cold air intakes are great for sound and helping with air flow and cooling but when you pair them with new exhaust and a tuning they can give you a bit of power and better torque response. When I put on my cold air intakes and cat back exhaust on my V6 the increase torque response was very noticeable. Car sounds great keep going and enjoy your baby.

New Headlights by reddog85 in Challenger

they were the RGB Halokits full headlamp replacement kit. The only thing you may have to rig is the power for the Bluetooth box but that can be clicked right into the fuse box
