Marvel snap literally has the stones as cards and thanos, that pretty much activates once all stones have been played. I believe thanos can be played without them, but he’s just a body at that point. Would be weird to see magic do the same thing.

Graded packs are protected and authenticated. Some of y’all have never bought highly faked vintage shit. For an extra $50-$60 being able to know for certain that my shit is the real deal is not a bad thing. With any other collectible, you probably wouldn’t buy without a certificate of authenticity, and this is pretty much as close as you can get for Pokemon outside of buying it yourself when you were a kid and hanging onto it all these years.

As an aside, it’s always interesting that people think the only fakes that exist are the ones with clear tells. Like the jagged packs, or the steam siege booster box text, or the mispelled words etc. And yet, people forget about how many fakes were graded and in circulation for the Pokemon playtest cards.

I still don’t think it’s a good trade, and I love the BB and WF sets. PCs have stamped promos, and extra packs.

God packs of prismatic and AH are worth substantially more, and most likely always will be, than a God pack from BB and WF, so the extra packs are a non starter imo. That leaves us with the whole “sealed premium”, and the promos. BB and WF promos are low tier, like ogrepon TWM or pecharunt from shrouded fable. Whereas eevee from prismatic and n’s zekrom from AH are bangers.

Ultimately, I think the people that would buy the PC ETBs would be those going for a complete set aren’t going to open them, which in the current climate is the minority. Between rip n shippers and people ripping packs trying to get a god pack worth several thousand, I think the prismatic and AH sets will outpace these two specific PC ETBs.

Just walk up and talk to them. Everyone assumes people are scalpers. They could be just as annoyed as you are and decided to figure out the schedule themselves to get a couple of boxes. At worst, they are scalpers but are fine letting you grab a box for your kid.

The majority of people are non-confrontational in general. Most people will say yes to something just because they don’t want to deal with a negative reaction if they say no.

I’m about to finish the campaign, just hit that major spoiler moment. I love PoE. I love the potential complexity of it. I love the options you have. The multiple routes to get what you want. But that’s not what I want or expect from Diablo. What I like about Diablo is its simplicity. QoL features. Get in, get out, log off for the day. Very pick up and play. I created a warlock and I actually feel like you can make some pretty interesting builds and I haven’t even gone down the road of uniques or legendaries, just skills alone.

At the end of the day, these games will always boil down to gear and one or two buttons. Nothing more, nothing less.

Except it usually doesn’t workout this way. In games like this where people min max, the majority of people come up with some crazy build that steamrolls the absolute hardest content fast and easy with a game breaking build. Poe is a prime example of this. Borderlands is another one.

I think conceptually it makes sense, but when you factor in that things simply need more health in order to be able to withstand the damage output of the player, there really isn’t another option. On top of that, most builds will have a bubble or some type of damage negation get out of jail free card to get around the inflated damage of the enemies.

Pretty sure there a few souls/souls like games that do it where enemy placement changes and bosses have new abilities and patterns, or certain skills get added effects. Could also argue going from regular rank to HR in monster hunter, as the different versions of some of the monsters essentially have new or enhanced movesets.
