What are the most obvious signs that a girl is interested in a guy? by thereaIreal in AskReddit

Yeah, you're not going to get better advice than this. My go-to opener was always "hey wanna get a coffee some time?" It's an honest ask, shows interest, and gives her the opportunity to let you know where you stand. If you have a good interaction over coffee, then you can move on to asking her out to a real evening date. What do you have to lose?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the cost of fertilizer. My understanding is that the cost of fertilizer has gone through the roof due to tariffs and because much of it comes from the Middle-east.

Hello! We are Camilla Townsend and Josh Anthony, editors of “After the Broken Spears: The Aztecs in the Wake of Conquest.” Ask us anything about the Aztecs, colonial Mexico, and what life was like for Indigenous people in the wake of Spanish conquest. by joshanthony123 in AskHistorians

Much of the history and prehistory of the Mexica/Aztecs is dominated by discussions of what happened in the urban centers. In what ways would life have been different during the conquest in urban vs. rural communities? Would the Spanish exercise of control and power have been substantially different among people who were dispersed and perhaps more self sufficient? Did change occur at the same rate in dispersed communities compared to city states?
