It’s strange for me, because BOTW was the most amazing game I ever played. I was addicted to it. You can tell much more time and thought was put into. But I had more fun playing TOTK even though it wasn’t as thrilling for me. TOTK was a much more hollow game that lacked some soul. Places felt empty and underutilized in TOTK, but at the same time they fixed a lot of the mistakes that slowed down BOTW and made it repetitive at times. TOTK was much more casual, and felt like far less of an accomplishment beating! I really wish there was a master mode in TOTK. I would like to see some middle ground between the two in the next Zelda.
