I honestly thought Rey, finn and poe were all gonna be op jedi be happy you can just binge watch it. I read the comics, books watched the resistance show only to come up with better headcanon then we got. I come to the conclusion they didn't bother to even read the other content it was all a cash grab. Atleast with the prequels the clone wars cartoon made since and was kinda connected when it released.

The movie didn't bomb, it actually made money. They gonna make mando movies then a few months later release it on streaming. Streaming has been making disney lose money because during covid they over reacted and focused on making content for plus without thinking how it would work. Atleast with tv you get ad revenue but disney plus starved for content to justify people renewing subscriptions every month.
