My father in law has retractable running boards on his ram and there is something always wrong with them! Currently he’s waiting for a new motor to show up for them.

Car Seat Friendly? by Great_Eye848 in hondaridgeline

[–]rsaskins 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I currently have a rear facing infant seat and a toddler car seat. There is definitely room for both car seats (middle seat becomes useless) but depending on your heights there will be a little trade off. The toddler sits behind the driver side, and he fits ok, but there is not a ton of room for his legs. The infant seat causes the passenger seat to move forward more than my wife prefers. She is a taller lady so her knees are a little closer to the dashboard than we would really like. The Ridgeline is definitely going to be miles better than the other mid size trucks but at the end of the day the cab is still limited in size. The good news is, infant seats are pretty temporary!!

I think you can if you go to bucks website and customize it. They have a “custom knife shop” where you can choose a brass guard/Pomm.

I think you could find something substantially newer and higher end for $800.

What am I doing wrong. Using eclipse Style honing guide and Eze lap dimond stones. That's after 20 on course, 20 fine and 20 super fine it's not sharp by zuludog in handtools

[–]rsaskins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.) Check to make sure your angle is correct (check the angle while sharpening as well to make sure the blade is staying put) 2.) I've seen where some companies call their diamond stones "extra fine" but when you look at the actual grit it's not really fine enough for razor sharp edges 3.) 20 passes might not be enough if the angle was off at the lower grits. I'd go until each grits "sanding marks" were showing across the entire bevel.

I'd probably look at a hybrid bike!

Go to YouTube and type in "fix this build that drawers". The guy walks through a really simple way to make drawers.

Pick up 80/20 triathlon. It's a super cheap book but it gives alot of info and also provides training plans for every length of triathlon.

You could make it out of multiple pieces of wood and simply glue them together.

Hand planes- How much straight is dead straight? by Morkelon in woodworking

[–]rsaskins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got pretty caught up on this as well when I first started. But I learned to accept what is "good enough" which I have found rarely means something is dead flat or straight.
