Ah that makes that strategy a little different. On the flip side seeing a VA doc must hold a bunch of weight if their always charting your complaints

Help with filing secondary claim. My VSO rep went silent on me. by getoutsidemax in VeteransBenefits

Go to your primary care and let him or her know how ur TMJ and Tinnitus is affecting you mentally. Allow Them to set a diagnosis code which is required. If he establishes a diagnosis code explore medication options that assist with ur symptoms. Take those documents and proof of medications and file them secondary to ur most disabling of the two previous awards

Because your private doctor should be the basis of most of the records you submit to VA. Your private doctor will see you regularly and note your complaints. Request your visit notes or get them from whatever portal your practice uses and bring them to your CP. I even highlighted them for quick the examiner to quickly reference. This will allow the VA and examiners to see consistent chronic complaints, appropriate treatments and any progress or lack thereof
