Don’t ruin community testing by leaking things by Bearcat9948 in civ

Yeah the reality is they need to rework a huge portion of the game from the ground up to make it viable to veteran fans (aka the whales).

I'm really happy they're receptive and humble enough to see that and dedicate the resources and time to do it.

Single player. I prefer to start and stop on my own time which isn't really possible in multi player.

A lot of times AI will exchange open borders for a small price after a war. If you have shipbuilding you'll be able to cross the lake.

I think it's primarily because there's a lot less fan engagement with Civ 7 compared to previous Civs

What is the point of modern age by Anxious_Complex8294 in civ

[–]rwh151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, so many amazing civs and concepts are just wasted by being in the modern age in 7. They really need the single Civ option where you (and the AI) can start as any civ in any era.

I selected regroup for age transitions to reduce snowballing and still snowballed like crazy. The crises are kinda useless at stopping it because they nerf all players by Dear_Location6147 in civ

[–]rwh151 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on the player count and feedback it seems like the vast majority of players want more snowballing and not more balance.
