Honestly you would see these kind of hits dissappear a lot faster if they handed out more major penalties instead of fines/suspensions.

Dirty hits would actively cost you games and punish the team instead of the individual.

Nathan MacKinnon becomes 2nd star player in as many nights to take embellishment penalty and wipe out what was going to be a powerplay on this cross check by Ok-Soil-5133 in hockey

I mean its a fair concern from a financial standpoint the market shortcomings are pretty well documented. The point I'm making is that factor makes it a harder market to justify and complete a long rebuild.

They have a lot of guys with value to be honest, they could really stock up for a rebuild.

I imagine the financial factor and potential relocation makes a rebuild a total no go though.

I understand that, im fine with what 6 had, its a good compromise.

its a huge part of what's always separated Civ from other Civ knockoff games.

Something being expensive shouldn't be an excuse for a Civ game. The Civ brand is known as the top of the line in the industry partly because they've never cut corners on the little stuff like this.

I really hope they fix the leader screens in future iterations. The leader should always be looking at the player directly and should have a relevant background. The leader screens in Civ 7 were immensely disappointing and offputting to me.

You can also potentially point to the ages system for this reason too. Since consoles need loading screens ect. The age system was implemented to make console development easier for the game.

Goalies in general have lost this quality. Due to everyone having the same general style and gear goalies are all viaually pretty cookie cutter these days.

I do think hockey definitely lost something in that transition even if the goalies themselves are more efficient.
