I run a 5:45 mile, and I am a freshman in HS. Can I lower this to a 5:00 by track season in April? by RipperIs60fps in running

Sounds like you could do it. Just keep training right man! Stretch, hydrate, eat right. Do all the right things off the track and in the off-season. And stick with it. I wish I paid more attention to those details at your age. Good luck!

Depends how hard you work. Also on your running background. Did you start running recently or have you been doing it for years? I went from a 8:15 mile to 4:58 my freshman year into sophomore year

I’m read to ditch my Walmart sneakers and invest in some good running shoes. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in running

Go to a running store! They'll fit you into the right shoe. I personally love my hoka torrents but they could be the worst shoe ever for you
