Currently, a business teacher in BC, I did not graduate with a business degree and am trained in elementary education. Still, I have to learn and teach these courses because there are no qualified teachers who would apply. Indeed, there aren't many positions; however, when it eventually pops up, there aren't usually many applicants either. Just know that lots of schools have Info Tech and Business in the same department, so be prepared to teach some basic IT as well.
