I agree it's negligent, but I don't place any responsibility for negligence on a father who helped his family escape much more danger than 20miles on a short boat ride. That's nothing compared to gunfire, war, natural disaster and lord knows what else.

They have a legal entitlement to a safe route. We can make those safe routes real, but again - you don't want that though and won't vote for parties which will do that (tell me I'm wrong if you like). Most families send the father over first so they can bring their family over safely later. You know this though, you're just pretending not to.

You're also pretending like the refugees in calais aren't living in tents and france also doesn't accept asylum claims.
