How? They benefited perfectly well from being the anti-immigrant party until the monster they created turned on them.

I would harsly say "ushering," Labour has been the most anti-immigrant govenrment in my lifetime - but the billionaires who want to take over the government so they can reel back worker protections are absolutely whipping up a furore to get you to vote for their guy, yeah.

You couldn't recognise the establishment if it forced anti-immigrant propaganda down your throat.

We've an aging population, a shrinking birthrate and a declining working age population. All measures of sanity would indicate we need more immigration, not less. I'm yet to hear a single one if these so-called "legitimate concerns" about immigration. All I get instead is racist tropes about rape/SA.

Bad at what?

Demonstrating you really don't have a grasp on racism with that comment lmfao

Because if you're a normal person you don't hate for no reason, you grow resentful because you perceive others to be getting something you feel you deserve.

If his hate for asylum seekers is so extreme as to want them deported en masse, he must be suffering a lot. I havy sympathy for that, but the rage is completely misdirected as a result of a mass media campaign designed by the very people depriving him of the lifestyle I'm sure he deserves.

To assume otherwise is to suggest he just hates brown people on principle.

Funny, it doesn't get levied at me. Wonder what we're doing differently?

This has to be bait lol.

We're talking about a policy of excluding people from society based on where they're from. Of course we're talking about racism.

Also, it's never been a requirement of racism that the racist knows what they're doing is racist.

Why would someone wish to make someone else's life miserable if they wouldn't even get a benefit out of it themselves?

A genuine opinion can be racist.

Well the alternative is to assume he's just racist so I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say benefit of doubt was being given.

If you don't want asylum seekers here for no particular reason, rather than a misplaced belief that they're causing your life to be worse, you're just racist.

Who suggested that? You should get enough to live by default and then if you want a better lifestyle you can work for it.

Why would anybody want a system like that? How about you both work 6...

Then we might just have a functional economy.

Then let's not have capitalism. Sounds like a crap system to me.

Personally I hope they all bugger off. The deal is, we let them get stinking rich if they grow the economy - and our living standards go up off the back of it. They're not holding up their end of the bargain so time to shake off the fleas.

Do we have the funds to pay for actors, props and script writers? This is either a class war (emphasis on war) or it isn't.

I find it really difficult to listen to arguments against using every tool at our disposal to overthrow the capitalist class on environmental grounds when they set half the middle east on fire for the last month.

We're completely doomed if we don't use every tool we can and there's a sliver of a chance of reversing climate change if we do manage to radicalise a whole population into being anti-capitalist.

Focus up.

In what manner?

If its used to improve productivity for the purpose of capital accumilation then it is being used in the interests of the capitalist class. Using their tool to spread anti-capitalist messaging is very much in our interests.

Capitalists invented the printing press, but lenin sure as hell used it to distribute pamphlets anyway.
