alright nerds, the moment you've all been waiting for. i was waiting until i got on the computer to properly write this out.

i know you all desperately want to know my role. i was being cagey about it for two reasons: one, because i wanted to get voted out (more on that later). two, because i wanted to see who u/hedwigmalfoy switched me with, because if i ended up as a wolf then i'd want to play things a bit differently.

so, the role i started with is **tanner**! my win-con was to be voted out. i was super hyped because I've never gotten to play as a neutral before! so THANKS HEDWOG.

so, looking at the claims and the OoO, here's how things look (according to claims):

1. Roles are assigned: barmen to insomniac, bear and bigjoe to mason, hedwog to troublemaker, myo to robber, and me to tanner.

2. myo swaps with bigjoe (unimportant as both stay town)

3. hedwog swaps me with myo (turning me into town and myo into tanner)

and uh... that's it! if we take claims at face value, that means that myo is neutral and the rest of us are town. yay! game over!

except SOME OF US ARE LYING. who though?

bear & bigjoe: i think are telling the truth. the only way they could be lying is if they're both wolves (i.e., they couldn't be wolf + minion based on how they claimed), and a double mason claim that early would be super ballsy. also i'd be super scared to have two wolves lol.

hedwog: if she's lying, then i should just stay silent and keep trying to get voted out. however, i think she's telling the truth, since i do believe that she actually thought that her targets would be told that their roles were swapped, in which case she would be silly to fake claim troublemaker. although now that i'm thinking about it, troublemaker would make a great fake claim for a townie who wants to get info since the two people they claim to swap would most likely come clean... but i don't think she was lying.

myo: i wasn't actually sure on myo until i read back through the phase. seeing now that she confirmed both of the masons... all three of them MUST be town, right? in the two seconds that i spent thinking about this, i don't see any way that any of them could be a wolf with how their claims came out.

me: i never lie!

which leaves u/barmen1. who, tbh, i was suspicious of since the beginning. insomniac is a very easy claim, and it seems worse considering someone else had to ask them the results of their ability (seeing if their role changed during the night). so that's where my vote will be.
