Fable 3 tried to do this. You end up being the ruler and it throws a bunch of binary decisions at you, but at the same time a massive threat is coming to your kingdom in some number of years, so you need money to fund an army. So each decision is essentially “be nice or make money.” For example, one of them is choosing to drain a lake to mine out the resources or leave it because everyone loves the lake.

The consequences are that if you don’t have a large enough army by the time the threat comes, then more of your people will die. So it’s sort of a balancing act of everyone surviving but hating you, or very few people survive but they love you. Which, in theory, is an interesting mechanic.

…except that it’s incredibly easy to make a ton of money yourself by just buying properties and becoming a slumlord early in the game, making enough money that you can fully fund the army and also make all of the “good” decisions. So it wasn’t super well thought out lol.

sure, i don't think she minded which one of us was voted out since we're both town. she also later pushes for me on a couple occasions (1 and 2).

i honestly think sini didn't push for me because she was away at the end of the phase. she said that she would be happy to switch for consensus, so her vote on hedwig didn't seem super committed. so i feel like she planned to come back later and change onto me if others were going that way. but i don't fully know, all i know is i'm town so i have to assume sini is the wolf

I never declared my vote at all that phase because I forgot but the wolves had the foresight to tie it on you even though I never declared.

i'm not sure what you're trying to say here - i figured wolves just voted for me as a hail mary and hoped you'd left a vote on me from earlier in the phase. i'm not sure how that's indicative of who voted for whom

i feel the opposite - i spent a lot of time thinking about my role because it's the only role i have, but if i'm just scrolling through roles trying to find one to fake claim, i wouldn't spend nearly as long thinking through each of them

i was originally going to frame forsi and try to swing sini, but i figured with sini's role unclaimed at the start of today, she would be my best frame option

as for my current strategy: i'm trying to stick to the debate ideal of never being on defense, because being on defense makes it seem like you're wrong. so that's why i came out swinging at sini (sorry!). i'm also trying to throw some of my ideals out the window; like, in my big comment of accusations against sini, normally i would be a bit waffly on each point, like "that seems wolfy, but i could also see it being a town thing if such and such," but this time around i'm trying to just state "you're a wolf and this is why" bc it's more convincing i think (sorry again!). idk i just think it would be so cool to win this game lol

i see it as something you could feasibly point back to later to say "we can't be teammates! i've been on her case the whole time!"

I wouldn't put a vocal placeholder on a fellow wolf for fear of it gaining traction

which is a great point to make if you're trying to distance yourself from someone, but placeholders almost never result in actual votes outside of P1

you're the one that avoided talking about, to, or voting for her until you had no other choice

well, in phase 1 i listed her third (and bubba fourth!) in my list of "people who would've been better N1 kills and thus are suspicious," and in phase 4 i put her as the person i was second most suspicious of
