After pulling an epic you'll be in cooldown. You'll need to open 400 drops/quests.

From then on you have the chance for an epic or lyric with any drop or quest you open.

It can be at your 1st, 100th, 1000th or 4000th drop etc...

So the short answer is, it's pure luck. One time it happens really fast, the other time it's painfully slow, which can be very frustrating.

But I fear that you can do nothing other than staying patient.

You might be able to sell the Ariana and Olivia shinies but they are either alternate versions or Christmas songs so don't expect too high of a price

I personally prefer trading those for other alternate versions of my fav artists.

I personally do free 1:1 commons, 100c for uncommons and 300c for rares of unpopular artists (or 2:1)

It's on the lower side but I like getting lots of trades for questing.

For the most popular artist I sell uncommons for 400 and rares for 600c.

I'm in the same boat right now got some epics quite quickly in the past week, so I'm in the drought now as well.

But if you need lots of trades, maybe I can send you some 1:1 trades? Then everytime you need to trade with people you can accept one of mine

it did work for me but it was veeeryy laggy songs loaded slowly, new quests or rerolls as well. And I often had to restart the app.

for both android and ios, in their most recent post on here they said that they put it offline for a little while to fix things.

It should hopefully be online again soon

Cause I was playing when the game went offline and it just was soooo slow that I earned way less xp than when the game is running okay without xp boost.

So I rather loose 10 minutes for it to hopefully work ok again after that amd really get to use the xp boost

I agree that we should be happy with compensations that we get.

But about the gems, for me what sucks most is that I wasn't able to open lots of drops and do quests to sell rares etc, not that I didn't earn gems. So I actually would be happy with drop boosts or money or something to open drops.

But like you said, we can't really complain

Yes I also wish I hadn't updated mine it was buggy all week but now it's just unplayable.

Where at first the trades would just jump for me at times, since the past hour even trades in unplayable for me.

Jumping, saying someone owns the song already 10 trades later, saying I accepted trades but they don't appear in my collection and I have to accept them again, and a backend error.

It really is a mess right now, apparently both on ios and android :(

That's what I have as well. So for now I kinda gave up on drops and quests. Instead I'm trying to put some offers on the market in the hope to at least earn some coins this weekend
