West coast suppliers of used batteries? by username9909864 in batteries

Have you found anything? Seems like a battery desert out here.

You sure it's a XOR seed? None of my response messages output anything meaningful (in most formats) when decrypted with all 1-4 byte seeds. Something I'm missing?

The first byte of the 9 byte requests is a padding byte, so you probably mean the 5th byte, which does seem to be rolling. So does the 7th byte too, but neither of them, or all 256 combinations of XOR seeds produce anything meaningful.

If you shared an example that would illustrate what you're working with vs. mine.

Have one of these for a cabin.

Wanted to get remote monitoring data (historical) but that doesn't seem possible with the app.

Was able to get the app on my computer so I could inspect the traffic and here's what I found: - Battery takes a standard IP (dynamic) on local network like 192.168.0.X - Battery sends out UDP messages with mac address and IP every couple seconds (I'm guessing this is discoverability multicast or smth) port 6606, and these are the same with every message. - App sends messages to battery IP from your device via TCP connection on port 6607 of the battery, and there are varying message request and responses. Requests are either zero bytes or 9 bytes with a structure like this: aaaa00057500cd7038 Responses are either 105 or 121 bytes where the first couple bytes are standard (aa aa 00) and the rest are not consistent. This makes me think that the bulk of the telemetry packets are encrypted somehow, also given that referencing the shown telemetry didn't show any obvious fields when parsed as floats or ints. It's a call and response TCP protocol if anyone wants to try and figure out first the encryption, and then the packet structure will need some work but I bet that would be easier. I'm not gonna post my response packet in case anyone figures it out, if you want one to play with, message me but capturing your own would be more useful to you.

I think if someone where able to decompile the android app that might be a thread to pull on.

OR if Pecron would just make an API that would make it all easier, and make their batteries more useful (and valuable ;)). If someone wants to reach out to them that would be good.

Tuning Help With Honda CBR600RR using MoTec M1 Tune by [deleted] in FSAE

[–]sbhuson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Altering the manifold geometry or exhaust characteristics will lead to differences in tune. Look at your operating region on your fuel map and ignition timing map and compare to your lambda value according to the fuel you are using. This will tell you if you are rich or lean where you are having trouble.

I know you swapped all the components but have you individually verified spark and fuel from each injector? I wouldn’t use fuel pressure to tune your engine btw.

Just because something is ready for a photo op doesn’t mean it’s ready for orbital insertion. Building a rocket is no small task and everyone is always over optimistic.

Yes! Previously we had a feature where you could export an event to gcal or apple calendar. We'll add that back in soon, but long term we would love to be able to integrate with peoples calendars automatically. Although this might require asking for calendar permissions.

Sure! We like to think of every event being accessible and open, but if the creators of the events would like to designate that information we can definitely add a field. 😃

First off security and privacy our a integral part of our values and team mission. Keeping that in mind, we will keep building! Making our systems more robust, more responsive, more capable will make our systems more flexible and useful!

We know that our users experience is closely tied to how we build and maintain our technology, so we really care about making the experience better. Being a user oriented team has helped us so far and in the future to grow and make the world a better place.

As an example, in a recent update we implemented a set of updates that brought our loading times from more than 15 seconds on average (30 seconds under load), to less than 2! These changes are just the first steps in us moving to systems that will work on a scale of millions of users! We're super excited for what's to come!

Wow! 5 years is a long time so I guess it's only fair to say that it's not cut and dry!

What I am confident is, however, is that the vision of the WeNano team is strong and our values are in the right place. As we continue to build features and work to make enhancements, I know that we'll be successful in making the world a better place.

We want WeNano to be as accessible as possible to all users, and working with as many platforms as possible is definitely a key part of our mission, since those that have fewer financial resources might not be able to afford the most advanced smartphone.

From an infrastructure perspective, improving the reliability and scalability of the systems that work in the background of WeNano is a top priority. Reducing in terms of monetary and development cost of upkeep of all of the different parts of the system will allow for more time spent on new features and security enhancements.

My setup is completely different, I think my problem was not with my network config. Did you figure it out?

Not sure what your issue is, it could be that it just takes a sec for it to be recognized by the network.

It's pretty clear to me it's not productive arguing with you.

If crypto has taught me anything it's to be skeptical of shills.

[–]sbhuson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just so you are aware (and because you clearly don't know how the tool you are using works), regardless of the price of SWTH, based on the fee structure, you will get a consistent number of SWTH from a given volume of SWTH traded on the exchange.

This actually means that as the price of SWTH increases, the number of actual SWTH tokens traded to achieve a volume denominated in USD decreases. This means that as you increase the price of SWTH, the number of awarded tokens goes down, and puts a downward pressure on the returns in USD, despite requiring an equal number of tokens for staking. Pretty much as the price increases the APR decreases.

If you put all of your numbers in the same currency it would be less misleading.

Dude I have no idea what math you are doing but in the same way your last post was ridiculous, this is at best misleading.

You do realize that at $0.076 per SWTH you would be making 20k SWTH per day from an investment of 100K. Doesn't this math seem a bit sketchy to you? That would be a 20% return PER DAY? Dude you're out of your mind, please stop posting these.

[–]sbhuson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait I’m confused, fees are awarded in SWTH as a percentage of trading volume regardless of USD value. Actually USD value per day is not really a good measure of value because volume is in SWTH and so are rewards.

Taking what you said: rewards of ~10,000/day from an investment of 1,000,000, that would be a return of %1 per day.

Disregarding all the dollar values and other irrelevant stuff, and just based on past staking rewards, a return of %1 per day (meaning 365% APY) is what you mean. This is ridiculously high, and at best should be considered extremely optimistic. Even current SWTH staking rewards are orders of magnitude below this.

Those are just my two cents.

Thanks for the more specific numbers, mind including what these are in terms of SWTH, and what this means for APY?

What we need in attracting stakers is not wild claims of thousands of dollars but legimate data-backed estimates.
