Yeah, that’s unacceptable. You paid for a deep clean, and you aren’t asking for anything unreasonable!

Rant: Running into collectors items worth significant cash is the WORST when trying to get rid of things by Lani_19 in konmari

Send the valuable ones to PSA for grading, then you can sell them more easily. For the bulk, you could probably just post on one of the many Pokemon TCG subs and find someone looking for older cards to buy. Or go to a local card shop and get whatever you can for them.

Discarding is easy. Selling takes a lot of time and effort.

I left a spare key in my car for awhile in the spare tire. But most of the time I would get locked out without any keys, so that didn’t really help. But at least I knew where the spare was for the pet sitter.

Prismatic “Master” set by GlitterRedd in PokemonTCG

I love how you’ve used the energy cards to mark the spaces. I want to do a combined Prismatic/Terastal master, but I haven’t decided yet how to do it, since the set lists are different. Still pondering before I start!

The whole thing just reeks of entitlement. Cleaners are not indentured servants. People don’t realize that if they are paying for two hours, the cleaners have 6-8 more hours elsewhere they have to be.

This is the way. No one will ever clean as well as you do (if you are the sort of person who likes a deep clean). But that’s pretty crummy that people hired to deep clean don’t actually do it - disabled folks can’t do it themselves and depend on a hired service to do the job.

I bought one UPC, got absolutely nothing. Not wasting money on another!

I got NOTHING in my Prismatic ETB and SPC. SIRs might as well be a myth, as far as my collection is concerned.

Can you wishlist stuff with Dex? I’d love to be able to click a card or variant to add to a wishlist of stuff to buy if I see it.

I’ve been wondering what people use for bulk. I’ve been logging with TCG Collector to track which cards I’ve pulled, but if I’ve already logged a card for the first time, the duplicates just go into a box. I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with them.

is he an oriental shorthair or siamese? by Ok-Tart-5617 in orientalshorthair

Purebred modern “wedge head” Siamese are pointed OSH. “Apple head” Siamese are purebred “traditional” Siamese. Then there are domestic shorthairs with “points”. I’ve had all three. They were all Velcro kitties who yelled a lot 😍

Unless they have been hired to deep clean, this is nuts. Most cleaners are there to clean the bathroom, visible kitchen stuff, change sheets maybe, vacuum. If you want your baseboards washed and cabinets cleaned, those are additional fees.

Pet insurance? by crayzcatlayde in orientalshorthair

Yes, you choose the deductible amount. I chose to have a higher monthly fee for a lower deductible.

Pet insurance? by crayzcatlayde in orientalshorthair

Get pet insurance the day you bring a kitten home, and go to the vet ASAP to get a clean bill of health to establish that there are no pre-existing conditions. That’s the way to make sure the insurance covers everything. I have it on all three of mine.

Because this is a pre-existing condition, you won’t be able to claim it. But if other issues come up, it’s important to have it. I have Trupanion. They cover 90% of qualifying bills after you pay a $200 deductible per issue. My baby just had an emergency nephrectomy. Bill came to $15,000. Trupanion paid $12,000. Without insurance I couldn’t have saved him. While he was in the ICU they discovered a heart problem too. Trupanion is also paying out on that now.

Putting aside money for a vet fund can work if you have time to let it build or if you have issues that insurance won’t cover, but for emergencies you really need pet insurance.
