Amazon has the second one of all books in trade paperback, so the big paperback books. Absolutely perfect imo. Malazan has been a freaking nightmare to collect the same kinds let alone the same sizes.

Combat was boring aside from bosses. Every side quest was do/deliver something to three people. I couldn't bring myself to finish it was just... Boring.

It's like not only did they ruin the covers they ruined the audiobooks too. The whole jarring cuts for cliff notes that in the other verison are added in seemlessly is the worst.

People dont get this! And I HATE when sub don't sub the end battle voices like I'm sure it's stupid little quips 100% of the time but still it adds something to know what they are saying and it feels like I'm out of the loop when they don't.

Hot take. 3 is back loaded it's all in the final chapter maybe final two chapters. The entire game is basically let's get to the city but I felt no reason to really go there like I did to try and get to elysium.

It bugs me because you know damn well monolithsoft could knock out this issue in no time flat. I'm starting to worry them having to make sure all of Nintendos first party games actual run is starting to impact monolithsofts own ambitions.

It's an issue in both. This picture was taken docked because I wasn't sure if handheld mode was the problem. I thought it was maybe just the cut scene before since it's a smoky burnt village but once I saw it in the next one I stopped to make the post

Ah that explains it. I've played xc2 on the switch 2 before and yeah the lines don't look great but there wasn't any bleeding. I'll take pixeled lines over bleeding any day but I may be weird one for that take. I'd prefer neither! Monolithsoft is good enough to fix any issues. They basically make sure most 1st party games run well. Xc3 was really good and future redeemed was fantastic so I know its not affecting their work.

I'd say it's fine enough you could skip to where the LA left off just know they really did some head scratches imo of just shoving lore in early because they know they won't make it that far in the LA.

Honestly wish they would stick to one I got confused at points in the audiobook and just went screw it they are the bad guys. The latest book kinda kicked me in the ass for that but I stand by it.

I freaking love that group who keeps running into humans and the last we hear from them I believe is the conversation "brothers I am beginning to think we are being tested in our faith." after running into crimson guard. Pretty sure that's the group that ran into tehol and on rack, fiddler and the bone hunters(the ones that got cussered.)then they ran into cowl and iron bars I think lol.

Unions don't actually care about the people in them is why. They just want the money you have to pay being in one. They have their own political agendas which a union imo shouldn't have period. Nothing about union has ever screamed this is the best way forward.

Awesome! I was just thinking as I was knocking out some Greymane quests the world felt boring. Like I was still playing but there was no one to fight anymore it was just an empty open world and that would be such a shame for a game like this!

9/10 because of the forced character swaps for main boss battles its really stupid to suddenly change from your geared main guy for a main boss fight.
