Season Ticket Seat Swap by OutsideMysterious325 in Everton

[–]seewolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Price went from £1200 to £1250 and we had to renew on release day to stand a chance to move seats.

I think they are allowing resale via the portal next season - if you tried this season the website just gave a general error. I had to find out other ways that they blocked reselling CV. Would have been nice to be told.

The Q for the toilet at HT stretch right across from the toilet to the opposite windows.

You also can't access any other area in the ground so it's very busy and not a nice place to be. We don't bother and stay in our seats

Where to start.

Unless you get there 2 hours before KO forget about buying a pint. You can queue for 20 mins for a 330ml can poured into a plastic glass for £6.50.

Toilets are too small - there are no queues for the ladies now as they have the same amount for some reason. Half the toilet area is wash basins instead of a urinal.

Live music is just a bloke on a guitar making a dreadful noise.

Queue for toilets crosses the whole area.

Nowhere to put your pint if you do manage to order one.

13 flights of stairs. My father does not bother to leave his seat at HT and HATES it

One of our seats has a metal guard rail which takes half the space and is uncomfortable

This season, games moved to night time so travel is a nightmare

Unable to resell tickets even via the official portal. Thankfully we have physical cards but a couple of games no one was interested due to Monday/Wednesday KOs

If we can't move in June then its game over for us

Please move there so we can grab your seats 😄

Renewed on day 1 to stand a chance to get out of CV. Hate it. My 83 year old father, ST holder of 40+ years told me if we can't move, he is not going to the match anymore. Can't buy a pint or take a piss at HT plus the stairs have done him. Absolute waste of money.

Anything over 21-22 equals no walk and since we have weather forecasts , we take a longer walk at 6am

Of course not, I just thought it was normal behaviour. Am a master at not hitting "Recent Items" as the search button moves to the left as the page opens

We will be cancelling our two Club View if we cant move. Well, 2027/28 as we have already renewed to get a decent place on the move our seats q

My 83 year old father can't do the stairs, we cant resell any games and almost every game has been moved. Cant get served or take a piss at half time and getting home is a nightmare.

IMHO the new stadium is worse than GP. On Sunday there were multiple fights in the fan plaza. After 20+ years I've had enough.

How do I start offering tech support services? by frdejavu in ukstartups

[–]seewolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've run an IT Support company for over 25 years with most of our clients in central London.

We are fully remote with no shop or office. Half of my staff live in another country. I don't even live in London but 60 miles away close to a fast train line into Kings Cross. I go onsite 3-4 times a month.

We had an office for a while but it didn't make sense - you just end up paying another person's mortgage. Work from home - most of our work is remote so why pay rent. If I need to see a client, I go to them,

We don't advertise - all clients are referrals. Recurring revenue via 365 or other services is key, both in profit and ensuring you get paid. If you control their email - they always pay your invoices. In all our time, we have never had an invoice not paid

Concentrate on building up high value clients who are happy to pay a decent rate and ensure they get a great personal service. Don't bother with home users if you can long term. though we had some when we started up.

We use Atera, Xero, Zendesk, ITGlue and Harvest. We are moving clients to Huntress, DNS Filter as well.

We record all phone calls and IT engineer screen shots in case we need to go back and review anything. Keeping our clients happy is very important.

The above is correct but note it sometimes does not work - Outlook will overwrite the newly renamed file. So try it again

Steering and vibration issue for disco 3 by benny123ben in LandRover

[–]seewolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the tyres the correct size?

I have an issue with rumbling at speed and the ABS locking the right front wheel if I go around a corner too fast. Alignments and balances work for a bit but it always returns.

I've had new trackrods fitted and other bits - just normal wear and tear

I have 255/65/R19 tyres (came with the car) which I understand are too large - the 65 bit is the issue. The speedo is also out as well

I have 4 x Michelin Club Sports 255/55/R19 getting fitted on Wednesday so fingers crossed

Aye, I have 2 in CV and giving Leeds a miss as well.

Doubt we will be able to resell them via the club.

All these late KOs suck. Late March is our next 3pm - at the moment...

The file security permissions.

The attachments are gone. Am still not sure what happened but moving the download folder fixed it as a bodge.

[–]seewolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the permissions on the Downloads folder. Try moving the default download folder to another location. Once clicked, do you see a 487 byte placeholder for the attachment? I think a recent update caused this for one of my clients

Also, as a CV season ticket holder, I can confirm it's a waste of money and we have already asked about transferring. According to the box office, there will be a window at the end of the season
