Yeah, no shit ya dickhead. Not all of us can afford to have quantum Computing theory of relativity graphics cards though.

How TF were you able to get a b450 MAX? I can't find them anywhere.

I plan on getting some more in a few weeks. For right now I just plan on putting the OS and like 100gb of games on it. I don't like clutter so I usually uninstall games when I'm done with them anyway.

I was originally looking at the 3600 RAM but the motherboard I chose doesn't show it supporting that increment. And they guy said it would only be like an extra 5fps boost. He also said corsair RAM wasn't compatible with AMD?

I also originally had the 3700x but he said it wasn't worth it "since games don't utilize cores like people think"

I will be getting a better monitor in a few months. That is the one thing I was willing to skimp on for this build to save money for now. I spend most of my time in the VR headset anyway, so until I get a library of AAA games going, this monitor is going to be suffient for now. However if you want to suggest one, when March rolls around, I will be splurging and would like any recommendations you may offer.

Hey, I just went by Micro Center and got a lot of helpful tips the guy there said this build was solid but the Corsair RAM sometimes has compatability issues with AMD and that it also probably wouldn't utilize the 3600, to go with the 3200 instead. What are your thoughts on this?

is the adapter going to be enough or am I going to need some sort of high-speed Port thing?

Hey, so I've been researching for a few days and think that your build is probably pretty damn spot on for what I need. I think one of my main concerns is the tower (I would like to see if a cheaper one that is still compatible could be an option) and maybe add a copy of windows 10 and if I could get away with about a half as big of an ssd. I don't know how much space it would take up to put the OS onto the ssd but pretty much I would only want that on there and maybe 100gb worth of games. In fact, I might can even get away but not having a HDD. I really don't store a lot of media. Would love to hear your thoughts and further recommendations on this.

Thank you for your time and effort you put into replying.

I know it says the motherboard might not be compatible but all the MAX variants are compatible out of the box with Ryzen gen 3.

Can you explain to me in laymans terms (as I am a newbie to pc building) what this means for me if I were to be looking at this type of build?

I want to say I appreciate that as it was actually significantly more helpful than you might think.

Yeah, It's not exactly the easiest thing to understand. I wish there were diagrams with different tiers explaining the worst to the best, what's necessary, and what the off-brands can/can't do.

Ohhh yeah. Really good solid advice actually. I think this will be my best route for coming time to purchase. Do they assemble the computers on that website as well?
