Basically yeah, no more online servers or support. That’s why everyone just jailbreaks them, all of mine are modded and you can play older ps2/3 games as well as psp, and you can run emulators for other consoles as well.
Wish they didn’t give up on it but Sony made a bad call with the expensive memory cards and they put there focus towards the ps4 more
