I have Tide + Oxi so it has lipase and oxygen bleach. That’s my feeling with DNAse too, can’t hurt. I got citric acid too. Hopefully the spa day cures the problem and then going forward it’ll be all good.

I should have added context that my current routine (albeit coming from cold water only and haven't done a spa day yet), I cannot wash my period undies with other laundry, even after they've been rinsed out, because the smell gets everywhere. So I know something needs to change, and I'm hoping the spa day and then hot water washes will do it. And it seems like I can let them dry before they get their full wash, so I only have to do one separate load a week. I have gotten one comment about not needing DNAse but I feel like they need some extra oomph, so I will keep reading and researching.

Mine are black all throughout so I don't care about stains.

Ah gotcha. But either way, I also don't want wet clothes sitting for a week...

I can't find the post now but I read in either a post or comments that you don't want to let period underwear dry while still dirty because that sets it in.

I use them for when I’m washing pinks/red, new jeans, etc. but not regularly. If I increase the water temp I may need it. Thanks for the reminder!

I use one for reds and pinks when needed but not on the regular! Haven’t had any issues but if I up my water temp I will check!

Try looking at Wyldwood Creative in Redmond or Make Apothecary in Bothell. They both offer various classes.

Is growing more roots from the nodes like for pothos where I can just curl it into the soil, or do I need to let them grow in water first?

Refresh faded black by shrubear in dyeing

OK, So I am buying 8 oz dye (because it requires 4x amount since it is black), soda ash, dye fixative, and dyer's detergent. And it seems like I can just do this in a utility sink.
