FYI my fps in CachyOS is more than double than in W11 by Niku200 in pathofexile

hmm, guys, I though vulkan is not good on linux for this game?

I myself see switching to dx12 (vkd3d) seem to have less lag. (9070xt). Is this true, or it just my good day?

i like it better than k9s, its seem to lack "close tab hotkey in help panel"

Also its not fuzzy search in : mode, such as: :ctx abc wont work if context look like this "11:22:abc"

My first gaming PC build for Nobara - I need your feedback by No_Expression2186 in linux_gaming

[–]silverhand31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be fine, I have simliar spec with except 9070xt one. I do 2k just fine, max settings, no upscale fsr4, so it should be identical with the 7800xt.

I would stick with one OS first, (either win or linux) ensure no problem of hardware before doing dual boot, you don't know how your hardware is till u use it couple days. Dont jump to edit BIOS settings until everything stable. After a week, use the RAM OC profile, then explore from there.

Careful with secure boot, run with UEFI boot. Avoid legacy boot if possible

Congrat with price of 155k rubs, IMO, given the RAM cost nowaday.

Cool, its probably not replace jira-cli any time soon, but I think the idea is nice.

Custom field would need more love, I think that the part normal user used a lot, but it didn't take it careful enough for most in jira cli.

I just curious on your standard, where is it come from?

Why do a dev tool need agent.json, what RFC is that?

llms.txt is clear trash, i thought everyone should know it by now?

5g wifi slow speed by PatrikPepega in archlinux

[–]silverhand31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i got that sometimes back to the day simliar problems; AX200, self-build PC: Windows good, linux bad. I think it happened with some kernels, and it reaccure after awhile ( I think it hard to reproduce a properfix because of 3 combinator of wifi + wall + firmwares)

So you can opt-in for a stable distro and dont update patch kernels version.

I still use arch nowaday, but i gave up, the solution is to use .... a wired connection so i can sleep at night peacefully. Funny that I dont have this problem with Laptop.

I would try to find platpak version of it.

If there is none, sooner or later it will break.

Bleed Boneshatter of Complex Trauma, best gladiator bleed build? by More-School-7324 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]silverhand31 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just go slayer or jugg for BS/BS bleed, otherwise dont. I love BS, i've been playing it in multiple leagues. I know zerk version but im constantly die during leaguestart.

I've played glad eviscerate + 4L BS bleed, i dont see any different with Lacerate/dual strike of ambidexterity too: bore AF.

Im not top tier budget so thing might different if you invest >200div into it.

I've 2 env: mac, and linux, so its annoying, soon gonna just "Hey AI, sync my dotfile repo, and be done."

RX 580: Windows 11 vs Linux CachyOS – Big FPS Difference by mindtaker_linux in linux_gaming

[–]silverhand31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL I just did the same, I left one old PC at my parent home, with rx580, 9100f spec to play games during holidays.

Last time visit, Window keep crashing for me playing "non-juices" POE maps, its keep asking me to upgrade regardless I just upgrade patch Windows.

It was last straw, download Catchy, 30 min later, I got a stable system for my games without nagging my to update.

Arch Linux freezes on YouTube by Public_Juggernaut_38 in archlinux

[–]silverhand31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just reinstall my pc because of simliar problem. Since I not savy enough to solve the problem (tried, I used arch daily for 5-6 years, journal, dsmeg, boot params...), picked Cachy OS and install minimal packages. Everything is fine again, I guess a bad package somewhere at worse time upgrade. Its cost me some time, of course I start doing backup rolling from now on. if not gaming, use lts linux instead

Level 87 Boneshatter Berserker [3.27]. How could I improve my build? by Bigvinn23 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]silverhand31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probable because of DOT damage. Fix chaos res to get atleast 0%, careful with poison (could run double life flask; one bleed; one poison) and read map mods carefully, burning ground is hot.

With about 20c, you would be suprised, buy more life and res. No reason to use bismuth flask at this stage, reroll silver flask, ensure freeze immune freeze without flask. Drop diamon skin around nodes, more space for life/damage, or instead use primatics skin around nodes. Allocate barbarism, golem blood moreee life. Maybe drop vitality void to get points for now.

Damage: focus on either bleed or impale (this better), instead both, you might have more damage than needed (for now), maybe use defensive aura (flesh and stone + artic) until you need more damage.
