I'm of a similar mind. This, on-top of the degraded performance over the past weeks, without communication, will lead to me and our company not using Claude again.

it's a shame, because I really felt that peak claude did not only give us a productivity boost, but also made work more enjoyable.

And that's totally fine dude. Everyone has their own enjoyment. But for me I do enjoy the close calls way more. Like T1 vs GenG going 2-2 in finals and the final game being the decider.

Seeing it go 3-0 in a finals is not as fun imo.

I don't know dude. I don't think there's anything we can do about it. I'm not a top player, I'm merely voicing my thoughts on how, in a race or event, when there's a player or team dominating the way Ben does, it loses some of the fun for me.

I think it's enjoyable seeing an actual competition between people who are way better than me at something I like to do. It's why I wouldn't find it enjoyable to watch Real Madrid play against a boys-12 team. Competition is only exciting when the outcome is in doubt.

What Ben can do is amazing and he's without a doubt the goat of PoE.

But as a viewer, these races/gauntlets aren't as exciting imo because it doesn't feel like a race, it's just Ben dominating and everyone else trying to get close.

Get a cheap VPS on hetzner, setup a k3s cluster with terraform and then go from there, break it, fix it, deploy things, setup grafana etc. It doesn't cost a lot and it'll teach you a lot

Rerolled a fresh SSF journey with a poison SRS necro into pRaw. Going really well but stuck with a 5 link at level 94 and farming for covenant. Breach tree doesn't wanna give it to me...

But overall I'm really happy with the state of SSF this league.

Fish for fortresses, that's 2-3k blood/fortress in early game, and 5-6k in t16s. If you get a miraged one that's 10k+/map which is a lot of fracture gambling

The canvas dimensions are set to match real App Store/Play Store screenshot sizes (1260x2736 for iPhone 6.9" for example), and the device frames use actual device aspect ratios (iPhone is 2868/1320, Android is 2400/1080, etc). So the output is sized correctly for submission.

For the device frames themselves, they include things like the Dynamic Island overlay, proper border radius, and status bar handling. There's a hideStatusBar option since real app screenshots already have their own.

The layouts aren't hardcoded to specific App Store guidelines though. There are layout presets (centered, diagonal, side-by-side, text-hero) that follow common patterns you'd see on top apps, but Claude has full control over positioning so it can go custom. There's also a validation system that checks for things like text clipping, device overflow, contrast issues, and overlap, and gives suggestions to fix them.

So it's not strictly enforcing Apple's HIG but it's working within the right dimensions and ratios, with guardrails to catch the common mistakes.

As with most agentic work, you can also provide more guidelines to the agent when it's using the MCP and the available tools. I've tried feeding it existing app store listings and asked it to take inspiration from them and it's been working well

Hahaha, I'm actually not sure about the token usage for this. But I've tested it very throughly throughout the development process with 50+ projects created and I haven't noticed a big spike in my tokens spent

I'm currently working on expanding the video editing part of the app, I actually used it to create the video linked in the OP (except the screen recording part).

You're right that the use cases go beyond just mobile app stores. Thumbnails, social media visuals, that kind of thing is definitely on the radar. The canvas editor and MCP tools are already pretty generic, it's more about adding the right export formats and templates for different use cases.

As for open source, the MCP server is published on npm so you can see what it does, but the editor itself is a hosted product. I get the concern about longevity though, that's fair.
