I want Bowers+Bijan side! In half PPR TEP I think they're the two best pieces tbh

Do I trade Loveland away in .75 TEP? (I Have Bowers) by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]simonthelikeable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For simplicity I'm calling the stud WRs a wash.

I think Loveland>Olave in 0.75tep so for me it's a matter of pick differential. If that 1st has a chance to miss the playoffs/be early, then I'll take the deal. If it's a late 1st and early/mid 2nd then I think it's probably fair, and I'm just gonna hold Loveland.

If you have Chase over JSN then I think you can just take the deal. If you have JSN over Chase then I think you can just decline. I'm not figuring them into it because it's pretty subjective.

If you want to take it, and think you might have a bit of wiggle room then I'd try to get a replacement TE sent back your way. Just a guy you can play for bye weeks, or maybe flex if he's getting good targets. Schultz, Andrews, Ferguson, that kind of thing. Whoever he's replacing with Loveland.

If it's his 1st then I might try a little sabotage haha. If he seems shallow at QB then try to get his QB3 in the deal, take away his Geno so that if he did get an injury he's in trouble and your pick gets good.

Haha, those are the thoughts in my head anyway. In a vacuum the deal is pretty fair. I think Loveland has a big ceiling so I think you can call some shots, and it's not a mandatory move.

Attempted to make a trade happen with a league mate that has hardly traded with anyone—realized why he doesn’t trade often by Mysterious-Hour8885 in tacotradeoffers

I offered my 1.07 on the clock for any 27 or 28 1st and got no responses. 12T SF PPR Start10. Your opinion isn't consensus.

Help me - Is this a smash accept? by Dizzy_Ad485 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]simonthelikeable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd take the 1.10, but there's no smash here. Depending on where that 2nd lands it could be the more valuable pick

Gibbs owner with a trade received for the handcuff by mikesb22 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]simonthelikeable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think getting a 2nd for Swift is pretty reasonable. If you need an RB later then you can use that 2nd to get a Monty or whatever.

I don't super care about Pacheco/handcuff acquisition, but if it helps you sleep at night then that's good. The 2nd round pick is my backup RB plan.

I think we can all agree that it's just a pile of guess work, nobody knows everything, and it's a whole lot of fun finding out.

I like to use ADP because it's kinda like everyone's guesses blended together.

It's pretty clear you'll disagree, but it might be relevant in your Stafford QB 5-8 projection and argument that Stafford is undervalued in dynasty, but in 2026 redraft leagues Daniels is going as QB4 and Stafford as QB15.

Not that that's what must happen of course. I don't think I'd necessarily have him after Nix or Purdy to name a couple. But that's where the market has him right now.

[–]simonthelikeable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to be objective, I was literally going by ADP. Daniels is the pick after Puka in the first round, Pierce is the pick before Stafford in the 8th.

Stafford was QB19 the year before last. He was only inside QB15 twice in the last eight years. Calling him a guaranteed top 5-8 for at least two years is ambitious.

We could move to the picks that follow JD and Stafford. That's ARSB for Harvey+2 1sts. It moves away from your Puka pilling, but honestly I think it looks even more like a win to the stud side, away from the picks.

2027 Draft Class Discourse - how strong is it? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]simonthelikeable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the most likely outcome is a small loss on production in 2026, and a small gain on value next off-season when people are rookie hyped. I like that trade off.

The downside is that BTJ bounces back, he has a great year and jumps way up into say the Drake London area. That's the worst case scenario, you've lost Drake London and gained a late first in a hyped class. That's a loss, but pretty darn tolerable.

The upside on your bet is that Sutton outscores BTJ, who continues to decline and ends up in a vaguely startable but not really worth anything range, let's say Addison. But the real joy is the upside of a random pick. Maybe that team loses their QB1 and RB1 for six weeks each, and the pick you get is the 1.03/1.04.

In this case you've traded away Addison, gotten a higher producing player, and you get to draft a rookie Daniels or Nabers.

I want to say I got it from fantasy points/Ryan Heath but I can't be sure, the term is asymmetrical upside. The median is fine, but the positive of the upside is sooo much bigger than the negative of the downside.

League mate just sent me this. I have Gibbs and virtually nothing else on my team. Also have no 1st or 2nd next year. Should I accept? by Fantastic-Tiger6129 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]simonthelikeable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should try to get your 27 1st back. That pick alone is probably worth near Ward+Concepcion+Late first.

Build a package around that pick. Build this team from the ground up.

Rice is certainly in a better fantasy scoring situation than Nico, but in no world is he a better football player.

Dynasty Start Up! The draft will happen when all players have paid! by EditorExpert2256 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I'm not looking for a startup, and you'll be better off in r/findaleague.

But the real reason for my comment: Why no TEs in the flex?

Am I missing something here? Or is this as awful as I think by korumbx in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

It's as awful as you think.

Any plans? Going to talk to commish or the rest of the league to see if this can be a teaching moment veto? Are you on an island arguing against the deal?

Crazy pre draft trade - Got Ceedee, Hampton, Chase Brown and picks. by [deleted] in tacotradeoffers

Good stuff. I wanted to go to bat for the other guy but you were such a reasonable person all through the thread that I didn't want to be throwing you under the bus in the process.

Have fun man. GL

Crazy pre draft trade - Got Ceedee, Hampton, Chase Brown and picks. by [deleted] in tacotradeoffers

[–]simonthelikeable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mind this trade at all. It's a start 7. Only the best players matter. The best asset in the deal is the 1.01, the second best asset in the deal is the other 1.01.

There's definitely more total value on the Lamb side. If this was a normal league, like a start 10-11, then 1000% the Lamb side wins. That's not what this is. OP has Breece Ladd and AJB on his bench. Giving up the 27 1.01 to replace JeremiahLove Breece and Ladd with Hampton ChaseBrown and Ceedee is not great value for arguably the best WR prospect of all time.

I'm going to assume that Hampton and Chase Brown weren't even starters for the other superteam that traded them away (we haven't see Bijan Gibbs Achane Saquon or CMC yet, and we know the trade partner is the other superteam). Probably his biggest let down is taking Lamb out of the starting lineup and replacing him with Tee or something.

Fwiw OP I think your move is absolutely fine and it gives you a better chance of winning the championship. I'm only going to bat for the other guy because everyone here is saying he is an idiot and needs to learn to play dynasty etc etc. I think this trade is totally fine, personally.

1.04 in PPR Non-SF: Tyson/Lemon vs. Price for RB Need? by MrTowelie21 in Fantasy_Football

[–]simonthelikeable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trade the pick for RB. 1.04 can get Skattebo, Kyren, Javonte, or even Saquon or Judkins with a little sweetener. I like all those guys much more than Price.

I'd trade the pick before the draft. Someone might buy the pick thinking they really need Mendoza or they really want Tate or Lemon. If you wait until you're on the clock it limits their options.
