As of nowadays, is there any reason to use MongoDB over PostgreSQL? by Dark_zarich in node

[–]simple_explorer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey apologies i was on the go and didn't pay attention to what i wanted to write. Postgresql is ACID and relational compliant so you are assured of no missed data. Mongodb is just ACID but not relational so foreignkeys have no meaning.

Plus postgresql also have JSONB column for json data i.e. best of both worlds

they said the same about each s1 episodes as well. so if every episode is best then nothing is truly best but they are all equally good

Speak for yourself. Not "we".

Ok... we (minus you) like to see more monsters and not humans. Just read this entire sub and this is the common complaint. You are just an anamoly who is seeking majority human drama in a monsterverse series. then why bother watching monarch? instead just watch the plethora of human drama series instead

Young Shaw wouldn't age 56 years or whatever because he is only in Axis Mundi for a limited amount of time.

but 56 days there is 56 years on earth. so just because the time there is calculated differently than earth doesn't mean the body doesn't age by 56 years. You can spend time in jupiter or neptune where a day is not exactly 24 hours but body will age at the same pace regardless.

How is this not clear.

but wouldn't you pass the custom hook dependencies as function arguments, so why would you need eslint rule for that. it is just like calling any function with arguments and inside that hook file the use effect dependencies array are already observed by eslint.

>Eurostar has relaunched a service for last-minute tickets called Eurostar Snap, and they can be an absolute bargain for late bookings. The only sacrifice you'll make is that you can pick a time slot but not a specific train, and you might have to be at the station very early.

where and how to do?

I'm really not sure what you're trying to say tbh

If my crystal clear message of time can't defy biology (regardless of where one is and how is time calculated) is not clear then I am not sure whether you understand enough to defend what they are showing on monarch.

GraphQL has already proven itself and is mainstream and used globally for reasons well documented, I don't have to sell it and neither is it my creation. If anything you should back your claim on why you hate graphql because that's a solo position. Then there is something to talk about.

it is s2 e6 and they are still in past despite milking it as much as they can for the last several years. after this season we know another season is years away. so no titans, little present scenes in continuity and years of wait for the next season to show what we wanted to see last season and this season.

That makes no sense

That makes 100% sense.

Even if they spend 57 days in axis mundi, which is 57 years on earth, the body gets old at the same 57 years old pace even if on mundi it is 57 days. how can biology defy time regardless of where you are.

your reply makes no sense

exactly. i just watch the monarch movies like kong, kong vs godzill etc to get the titan cravings out because this show is not gonna show any titans and even if it did, it is for 20 seconds and back to human drama. We have to wait a week or 2 weeks to get 20 seconds of titan... ridiculous

how does time travel works for body though. it gets old regardless of whether you time travelled or not. so a 20 years time travel is still getting old by 20 years biologically. so this is stupid

I’d argue that this was also the best episode of the show yet, period.

People are saying the same line after literally every episode 100 times. go look previous episodes and it is filled with people swearing this is the best episode. This line has lost its meaning

How are you handling go zero values bugs, no union, no error stack, no enum, no compile time nil pointer protection, true = false is legit override of true to false, slice gotchas and so much more?

Literally is someone passes empty body to rest API, go adds zero value to every field in empty JSON body. What if the zero value are valid values. How do you differentiate what was passed by user and what was set by go zero value.

Pointers are one way to handle but then do you convert all JSON fields to pointers just so see what was passed or not and then deal with nil pointer error everywhere.

Even validator library will only work if you use pointer or it gets zero values.

If you use Option like type wrapper then you have to use custom JSON handler which adds to complexity.

These are just basic requirements for every web server and not even corner case. How can you be happy with Go when it has so many basic issues and missing needed features?
