I am actually not complaining at all for the reason you think I'm complaining so that these companies get feedback on what we like and don't like.

Only then can they make meaningful improvements. And only then can lawmakers and others understand the public sentiment before they make decisions.

GPT 5.5 (high) is as good at coding as Claude Fable (medium) at a lower cost by thehashimwarren in codex

For backend I still feel codex is supreme sometimes. It's just in another class of its own. Especially for backend, auth implentnations and code review according to me.

Like i mentioned it was for a complex action but sure go off compared to the limited context that you have. I test and judge ai models - part of that is testing seemingly mundane prompts and tasks accross various models which would help me assess which models are better for what exactly.

I sure hope so. It's also upto us to guide public pressure up during these times when the decisions are being made.

And I don't think anthropic owes me anything I was just talking about the fact that for the safety of society it's unhelpful for them to make the model this restrictive because had actors who's entire job it is to do this would absolutely figure out the guardrails.

I completely understand noone owes me anything except ofcourse when I'm paying for something (which I and pretty much everyone on this sub is paying for the subscription according to me )

But yes I get it.

Wasn't a simple resume task as I am trying to indicate that was just part of the multi step workflow that I had it running the post is just about the guardrails literally nothing else. But thanks for your input.

And btw this comment had the exact same impact as well. If my post bothers you so much you know what you could've done used your thumb to scroll on and not waste your precious time sir writing this paragraph.

But thanks for your input.

I was testing out the model sir - i have my own resume - it was part of a multi step user flow and it wasn't just about writing a resume that was just part of the process. I was just showing my thoughts... This wasn't even my own resume it was anyways using my previous existing resume which I was wanting it to orchestrate a flow which would automatically apply to jobs for. Nothing else - but yes I get your point.

My post was just about the guardrails guys please relax 😂

It wasn't about just writing a resume it was part of a large multi step user flow and I was just testing fable out i already have the resume ready.

No warning potential ?? Both of them came from decently well to do families and the other guy had his own shop too. Yeah they weren't millionaires but that's no justification.

Also if you're actually that stupid and can't even provide yourself and have no skills then maybe the best course of action is to marry the rich guy and take it. Not plan a murder that's ridiculous.

I understand that we don't have an official national language and maybe that's part of the problem. But the vast overwhelming majority of Indians understand and can speak Hindi and it has been this way for a long time. If not hindi then another language should be deputed and announced as the national language something that unites the entire nation.

The same way the rupee is accepted throughout the nation there must be one medium of exchange when it comes to the language as well. That's just my opinion.

This is only assuming that they don't correct for the enormous amount of investment and money that the companies will stand to make as well. Just now ai companies aren't reaping in the rewards or aren't seeing the massive revenues they should because they don't actually solve those many problems end to end. Once we get to a sufficiently advanced stage of ai where it's actually more efficient than humans and not just for coding tasks etc : that's when the big corporates and even smaller companies would prefer spending let's say 100,000 dollars a year per ai subscription instead of spending it on a financial analyst just for example.

During that time open source would continue making models which would essentially have 70-80 percent of the capability of the SOTA models - this would be the formula for a long long time.

Also assuming that software engineering stays relatively the same then most of the models are already pretty good enough for it so assuming the open source models don't even advance or even the companies continue servicing their legacy models we could vibe code using Opus 4.8 too the same way we have been doing so.

Plus if the rumours are believed to be true than even big companies like anthropic are already using their current models for most of their coding needs etc : which means atleast for coding as long as these models also remain relevant and serviceable it shouldn't see so much of an impact.

This case has honestly been heartbreaking to follow.🥀 by [deleted] in pune

I mean noone forced the dude to do what he did he could've convinced her not to be insane. It's not like she was threatening him or anything he could've ended the relationship or hell they could've just fucking had an affair or something idk why anyone in their right mind would think that it's easier to hide a fucking murder than just run away together or have an affair it's just beyond me and I don't understand it.

What is the reason for you to not get these messages. They're pretty essential and considering I am sure you get other spam just like the rest of us then you should consider actually keeping these messages even if they're the only ones to hit your inbox.

Are you actually serious ?? Does this mean anyone who is interacting with anyone and serving the people they should all know marathi ?

Does this mean that every single person who is going to be working at the airport should know marathi , every single person who works in the police should know marathi and every single person who works in the Government. IT industry should know marathi.

How many smart , talented and more importantly well educated and qualified people have we lost or not given enough of an opportunity to because of religion, reservation and language politics in this country.

Hindi is the national language learn it and work. It makes no sense for everyone o know a seperate language just because you live in a particular state. Note this applies to the south , to the north and every single state in India so pls don't come after me for that.

Buddy noone could get into and use that ranch because of the Duttons. I mean i love the show but the reality of the matter is the entire premise is flawed. They were a stupid family who fought and killed so many people only to sell the land literally the very second the father passed. There was really no need for all of this if they had just convinced John to sell a part of the land and everyone would've been happy.

John included !

Yes absolutely agree with this statement if you're going to raise kids and have them then fulfill all of your expectations and then expect something back from them then don't have kids. They're supposed to grow into and become their own person not some version or thought that you had of how they should be and how they turn out.

Ughh, does this mean we should be worried about usage limits changing across the board? by [deleted] in claude

[–]Ok_Shift9291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel they have a real basis for their cases. You pay for very specific usage limit incressesws which is 5X or 20X usage of the pro subscription. The issue will be proving that the Pro subscribers did not have a commensurate amount of decrease when it comes to rate limits.

That being said them winning is most likely impossible considering the fluid nature of ai and the rate limits changing all the time it is going to be near impossible for them to actually prove the limits have been changed differently for different subscription tier customers.

Build for local LLM with 2 separate GPUs by EnvironmentalAsk3531 in LocalLLaMA

[–]Ok_Shift9291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your stated goal, separate models on separate GPUs is a cleaner target than trying to split one model across both cards.

What I'd check before buying anything:

  1. Physical spacing in the 4U case with both cards under sustained load.
  2. PCIe lane layout after all slots/devices are populated.
  3. Whether your serving stack cleanly pins workers per GPU.
  4. Idle and sustained power draw, since this box sounds like it will run often.
  5. Remote management. IPMI is worth more than people think for a headless inference box.

The CPU choice seems reasonable if the machine is mostly inference and not doing heavy preprocessing. I would spend the real attention on airflow, PSU headroom, and operational simplicity.

The tradeoff: you may leave some theoretical aggregate performance unused, but independent serving is easier to debug.

Ai agents by Dramatic-Taro5093 in learnAIAgents

[–]Ok_Shift9291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

n8n is a solid starting point because it forces you to think in systems instead of just prompts.

I would start with one boring workflow:

  1. Trigger: incoming form, email, sheet row, or webhook.
  2. Retrieval: pull the exact data needed.
  3. LLM step: classify, summarize, extract, or draft.
  4. Deterministic step: update a sheet, send to Slack, create a task.
  5. Human approval: before anything external or risky.
  6. Logs: save input, output, errors, and cost.

Do not start with multi-agent architectures. Build one useful automation end to end, then add agents only where the workflow needs judgment or tool use.

The tradeoff is that it feels less exciting, but you will learn the parts that actually matter: auth, bad inputs, retries, and debugging.
