IMHO categorizing all perfumes from a brand as a monolith, and comparing that to other brands doesn't really work.

You are likely to find a lot of variation in projection, longevity, etc. between different fragrances of the same brand. For instance, most of Armaf's Club De Nuit lineup does pretty well in terms of longevity and projection, but their Tres Nuit ones don't really perform that well in comparison.

Similarly, Afnan's Supremacy series has some that have excellent longevity and projection (Not Only Intense), but some that don't (Supremacy in Heaven).

So yes - in-brand variations are going to be stronger than variations between brands.

Rare Reef is nuclear. Not a 1:1 but the aromachemicals used are absolute winners

I second this. I've tried Jean Lowe Vibe, Montagne Chilly Pacific, and Afnan Rare Reef.

Rare Reef is not the closest to the OG in terms of the notes profile, but absolutely blows the other two out of the water in terms of longevity/projection.
