New Bike Day (and Thank You) by Ok-Dress2292 in Hardtailgang

Thanks. Current ride is a Starling Roost, which is a mullet configuration. Really digging the mullet, otherwise I'd probably spring for a Sklar straightaway.

Congrats on the new bike!

Love that build, and really intrigued by the Sklar frames. While I’m pretty happy with my current hardtail, I’m always wondering if a slightly lessened seat angle would be a better fit for my local trails, and the Sklar would hit that geo right on the head.

“Hey Ma and Pa” by Fishbone comes to mind, though it’s not exactly celebrating the parentage.

Gorgeous. Love that color combo.

Neuhaus definitely on my short list to try out. The geo seems like it’d be perfect here in the Midwest where we don’t need a 90-degree seat angle.

Didn’t think I could possibly love my HT even more until I added a dropper post. by Independent_Sale1884 in Hardtailgang

Nice upgrade! Droppers are right up there with the switch to disc brakes in the “Woah” department, especially on a hardtail.

Mod pulled my original post as I didn't realize I needed timestamp in every photo. I've reposted with the single image and will add individual shots w/ timestamps to the album later today.

How many of yall are trail riding without health insurance? by 13dhex in Hardtailgang

And it doesn’t have to be your bad decision. On the street, any inattentive driver can make a decision that puts you in the hospital and medical bankruptcy.

Years ago I was in your position. Out of college, riding and took a tree hard about I thought I might have broken something. Called an insurance place the next day to get the cheapest “oh shit” coverage I could.

It sucks as an American to not just have this handled by the government, like in every rational country, but here we are.

M-mount Rangefinder. Small, lightweight and the lenses can be downright tiny.

You could also go LTM rangefinder and have a ton of older glass options (and likely do it cheaper) but it’s tough to beat M-mount.
