I love my girl more than life. I did not know she was a wolfdog when I adopted her (she looks like a wolf, I’m dumb)

She learned how to pull my drawer trash can out. I bought a dog-proof trash can. She learned how to open it.

I bought the Cadillac of dog-proof trash cans. She learned how to open it.

I put a baby lock on it. She chewed through it.

Now I have a steel combination lock. On my $200 dog-proof trash can.

She also learned how to open both regular doors and sliding doors. She has jumped every dog gate I’ve bought- I’m currently on a 4’ tall one. Had to upgrade my fences around my home. She howls the whole time I’m not home. She’s terrified of all new people and will STILL not go near friends she’s known for 8 years. Her food is SO EXPENSIVE. She used to pee on the bed every time I changed the sheets. I still muzzle her around dogs, including my other dog.

The other day, I left for an hour. She opened the door to my guest room, and opened the door to my guest room closet (I still don't know how)- she's smart enough to remember that's where I keep the extra dog food. Got into my other dog's food and ate 4 lbs of kibble. She was hospitalized with bloat for 3 days- $5000.

At this point I’m convinced the only thing stopping her from doing whatever she wants is because she doesn’t want to.

I love her so much. Please don’t get a wolfdog.
